I honestly and sincerely hope that Newsom is indignant that there was even a recall election and he turns California into Australia.

I hope he unleashes the CA National Guard to liberally apply buttstrokes to the faces of people who are unmasked and goes all EO 9066 on the unvaccinated.
California decided to reelect him and I hope they suffer mightily for it.
The only problem with that is that the Californians who fought the good fight to have the recall election and those who did vote for the recall would be the ones who would suffer. The other people — those who like their serfdom and those who are too “sophisticated” to be under the law — would be just fine with your suggestions.
Many years ago Bill Oreilly used to opine how it wasn’t the peoples fault for the conditions/situations in Commiefornia. I have always thought the people were responsible for their collective idiocy and Oreilly was as f-ing stupid as Commiefornians were/are and have continued to prove every single election.
I hadn’t realized that there weren’t many proud Americans left in California. Mostly their rich Betters and people suckling at the government teat. Sigh.
I’m afraid to ask what it will take for enough people to open their eyes to the ruin that Progessivism (sp?) brings to our country. 😢

Some people are just slow learners, and an alarming fraction of the population will eagerly believe whatever MiniTru proclaims, especially when the proclaimed Truth is that Snowball sabotaged the windmill, or whatever reason is given that Our People aren’t to blame for our problems, but rather it’s those despicable Others.
Of course, the recall effort failed. Darth Noisome is a mighty Sith apprentice. (Question is, who is his master?)
It doesn’t help that so many Californians are firmly inside the bubble, and firmly believe that Florida and Texas are run by a death cult, that Tennessee is a mysterious place filled with toothless banjo players who shoot strangers on sight, etc.
OK, so those beliefs maybe do help. They help keep the blue-state true believers bottled up, ’cause they wouldn’t dare visit red states, let alone move to one.
Well, I have all my teeth and never touched a banjo. So, those particulars are incorrect. But one more wood chipper rental qualifies me for a free one. So I guess there’s that.
I’m a newcomer here, but when I first started contemplating a move to TN it didn’t take me long to realize that the stereotypes were wildly incorrect. First “go scout the area” trip in 2014 was highly enlightening.
(And I’ve never once heard any of the neighbors playing a banjo.)
This assumes, of course, that there were no cheatsy-doodle bullshit shenanigans going on.
In light of events, you’ll forgive me for assuming that was the case.
There was a higher percentage turnout than any other off-year election they’ve ever had. And a lot of older voters were told they’d already voted when they showed up to vote. The fix was in, and we already knew it. Like Peter says, TINVOWOOT
Just wait until it comes to your state. Or your country 😉
I will predict that someone, like (not), but like Aesop will have had enough and will assainate Newsom.
My assessment is that Mr. Newsome was/so popular, that he received “stay” votes from dead folks, non citizens, hell, likely even my Wisconsin self, for all I know.

Imagine my dismay as I read my morning feed. No, not at the loss of the recall, I knew I was going to lose that. The fix was in from the start, 40 some odd candidates, very little time to stump and campaign, PRINT YOUR OWN BALLOT.
No, my dismay is to see that my own people do not have my back? That this is wished upon me and my kith and kin? Should I do a copypasta of the above and switch out CA for USA, Newsom for Biden? Do you not love your wife and family too?
Yes, I am stuck behind enemy lines (yes, thank you, I know it sucks, yes I want to leave, no it is not happening still, and I do what I can) but what happened to teaching incrementalism? I believe that we are stemming the flow, and working on at least hope for the turning of the tide. If we left, then there would be nothing stopping them, and as sad as it is as CA goes, so does the USA. Was I amazed that we got it on the ballot? Absolutely! That there was even a front runner is just a topping on the cake.
So, we should all leave, way to Mao and Pol Pot one of the best growing grounds in the nation. That surely will not effect you at all. I am not a native, but married in to a long line of CA families, working the same ground, making a living, doing what they know on the ground that they love in the requirements of the area.
People are waking up here. Three people that I work with were not political until two to three years ago. Their eyes are opened. The consent of the governed is going away. The liberal enclaves are only suggesting masks. There are no requirements anymore because they realize an unenforceable edict is more dangerous. You go into a place without one and no one will say boo. The amount of Trump and USA flags are amazing. For a good four months I could not replace my stars and stripes because there were none to be had in any store. I followed a vehicle in today with a KEL TEC sticker on it. I see plenty of that stuff and no one messes with those cars or houses or anything like that.
Did they actively cheat on this election? Well we do not talk about Democrat graft for no reason. But I know that they still get the raw numbers of those that voted against them, and I think that they realize that it is not all peachy keen for them. Does that temper their designs? I hope so. I think that they are not too dumb to not read the tea leaves.
And I sincerely hope that nothing happens in your state or locality, that would make someone wish the worst for you, even when you try and do your best.
