She got her ‘P’ words confused

Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was a progressive superhero.

He said all the right things about all the right causes.  He was active in pushing the #MeToo movement.  It seems that like so many other men in power, he thought that his woman’s issue virtue signaling bought him enough indulgences that he could be a woman abusing monster in private.

As at least four different women found out, actually living 50 Shades of Gray is a lot less enjoyable than reading it.

“It was at first as if he were testing me. Then it got stronger and harder. It wasn’t consensual. This wasn’t sexual playacting. This was abusive, demeaning, threatening behavior.”

She said that as the violence grew, so did his sexual demands.

“He was obsessed with having a threesome and said it was my job to find a woman,” Selvaratnam said. “He said he’d have nothing to look forward to if I didn’t and would hit me until I agreed.”

She said she had no intention of adding a second woman to their bed.

The abuse increased until Schneiderman was not only slapping her but spitting on her and choking her, she said.

“He was cutting off my ability to breathe,” she said.

Soon, “we could rarely have sex without him beating me.”

In classical Democrat fashion, he knew where his place was over people of color.

“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam said.

“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”

Of course, this couldn’t be because Schneiderman was a piece of shit.  No.  It’s because men.

Marisa Kabas is a director with an app called HOPE that helps short attention span millennials know where to direct their two minute hate at the appropriate times.

She gave men direction on how to behave after this.

Actually, I am horrified and disgusted that a man this abusive could have been in a position of authority for so long without it being found out.  Which makes me suspect that everyone of consequence in NY knew, just like they all knew about Weinstein, until Ronan Farrow blew the whole thing wide open.

I don’t believe that there are men secretly saying to each other “Man, did you hear what happened to Eric?  Totally non-cool that he got busted.  I don’t know how I’m going to keep my sex slaves under wraps if this kind of thing keeps happening.”

The overwhelming opinion among us normals is “he needs to spend the rest of his life in prison and the rest of eternity in hell.”

That’s because “the patriarchy” is not real.  The only conspiracy here is among progressives, to keep one of their own in power because it’s more important that he fight Trump’s travel ban that it is that he not choke girlfriends nearly to death while raping them.

the ‘P’ word that made Schneiderman, like Weiner and Weinstein before him, possible is ‘progressive.’

But don’t let that get in the way of a narrative.

Money speaks louder than words.

Remember Bank of America and the posturing?

Bank of America to step away from clients that make military-style assault rifles for civilians.

I guess some share holders reminded management about the legal principle of fiduciary duty.

Bank of America is still working with gunmaker Remington

A top Bank of America executive pledged in April that the bank wouldn’t “finance military-style firearms for civilian use,” but the bank is still lending $43 million to gunmaker Remington Outdoor Company.

Virtue signaling gives you a nice warm feeling on the inside.  It also empties your bank account.  Not good when you are a bank.

Not a parody video

The Thin Blue Line was a British police comedy staring Rowan Atkinson – unfortunately known best in America for playing Mr. Bean.

One scene from this show perfectly captures why we stand against “reasonable restrictions on guns.”  Because everything they describe as “reasonable” makes law abiding gun owners subjects of a bureaucracy.

In 1995, this may have been a joke.  Today in the UK it is real.  It is also how may issue states treat CCW and is what anti-gun activists are trying too do to US gun ownership.

Oh really Mr. Schatz?

From US Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hi):

Really?

Why not ask US Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) why he was at a rally wearing a shirt that says “Yo no creo en fronteras” which translates to “I do not believe in borders.”

I would assume that a US Congressman advocating for the radical position that the most mild allows anybody to enter the US at any time without scrutiny and at the worst calls for the dissolution of nations, would be “extremist.”

Mr. Schatz ignoring the antics of Mr. Ellison tells us one of two things;

  1. He’s blinded to the extremism of his own party because of partisanship
  2. He thinks a world without boarders is not an extreme position

I really hope it is just disingenuous partisan bull-shitting that  allows Schatz to ignore Ellison, because the latter is horrifying.

Update:

Not 10 minutes after posting this, I saw this headline in The Daily Mail.

Chelsea Manning vows to eliminate US borders, close prisons and abolish ICE before it commits ‘ethnic cleansing’ as she campaigns for Maryland Senate seat

I guess boarder elimination and abolishing ICE has become a mainstream Democrat position if Schatz can’t call out any Democrat candidate for running on an open boarders/no boarders platform.

Alyssa Orwell

Alyssa Milano has been a leading voice with NoRa.  I guess she is trying to maintain relevancy in the public eye since she hasn’t been in anything popular since the late 90’s.

She went onto Twitter with her proposed “gun safety bill rights.”

A little bigger so you can read it.

I see they use the word “rights” the same way Oceania uses the word “freedom,”

That shouldn’t surprise me thought since these people embrace “ignorance is strength.”  That is the reason why so many anti-gun people know so little about guns.  Guns are bad and so knowing anything about guns is having wrong-think in your head.  The less the know about guns, the stronger their anti-gun position is.

After a preamble of NRA lies and hatred, they dive right into “reaffirming the Declaration of Independence.”  In typical far Left style, they don’t understand the word “liberty.”  Gun rights are baked into the “life and liberty” of the Declaration.  We have the right to defend ourselves and to possess the tools necessary for that.

To these tinpot tyrants, liberty means… being micro managed by the government so they can have freedom from other people’s behavior.  They use this perverse definition of freedom to affirm “rights” which are more government controls.

Equal protection of from gun violence.  At face value, this sounds fine.  Then you look at the statistics and see that half of all homicide victims are black and the overwhelming majority of murders are intraracial (black on black or white on white, etc.).  So when back men, who only make up about 7% of the country commit half the murders, how do you enforce “equal protection of from gun violence?”  Especially when your side is very anti-cop?  I have a feeling this will be done by attacking gun rights advocate as racist, even though the issues in the black community that cause the high murder rate have nothing to do with law abiding gun rights and everything to do with economics (low qualities of education, high unemployment, lack of responsible fathers, and other factors that drive up gang crime).

Right to know.  I think this goes back to the “The NRA won’t let the CDC study guns.”  Which actually means “the NRA won’t allow one bureaucracy to fudge the data that allows us to infringe on rights.”  Back in 2013, the CDC did a study on guns and found that defensive gun use was an important deterrent in crime happened between 500,000 and 3 million times in a year.  And the Obama administration buried it.  What they want is the right to lie to you with the authority of an unaccountable bureaucracy.

Right to live free of gun violence.  How pray tell do you do that?  How do you guarantee what other people will do?  They don’t like cops, they don’t want teachers to carry guns, they don’t want armed security.  How to you stop a bad person bent on hurting others from doing that?  In one of the most repressive nations in the world, China, a mad man stabbed a bunch of kids to death.  London has banned everything sharp and/or made of metal from city streets and still they are killing each other left and right.  You can’t get rid of the guns in the hands of the good guys and expect the bad guys to just give up.  This is infeasible nonsense.

Right of the mentally ill to be free of gun violence.  When you take away the double-speak this can only mean mass involuntary commitment.  How else do you stop a suicidal person from committing suicide?  Maybe they don’t care about suicide – the way they don’t care about non-gun violence – and just want to stop the depressed and mentally ill from getting guns.

Do they want mental health evaluations as part of background checks?  How bout HIPAA or patient privacy?  Should your gun potential gun owners have to submit to bureaucrats mental heath records or do the bureaucrats have the power to demand we be evaluated first?  Since they have already decided wanting gun rights makes us deranged just as the Soviets decided anybody who didn’t want to live under Communism was insane, is this just an excuse to deny anybody who really wants a gun their gun rights.

Right of the people to have influence.  Her special interest group is more equal than other special interest groups.  Our six million members shouldn’t have nearly as much say in our democracy as the few hundred NoRA protesters.  It’s not fair that we’ve been around since 1871 and they popped up within the last few weeks.  It’s not fair that our members put our money where our mouth is consistently with donations and an the voting booth.  It’s not fair that Trump won the electoral college.  If they can’t muster the people and the money that we can, they need some special authority to put us under their boot heel.

None of what they are asking for are rights in the tradition of the Bill of Rights.  They want bureaucratic authoritarian control over our gin rights, our privacy rights, and our right to freedom and speech and peaceably assemble.

Their “rights” put bureaucrats in charge of doling out privileges.

They demand more interference in our lives and redistribution of resources.

Their “Gun safety bill of rights” is the firearms equivalent of the 18th Amendment and they are like the temperance movement.  They want to use the government to strip the rights from millions of law abiding Americans because a small group of miserable, meddling harpies hates what we own justify it by the bad acts of a small group of people. Just like with the temperance movement and prohibition caused more problems that it solved and cost far more lived than had they done nothing, the same will happen here.  They will strip the gun rights from millions of law abiding Americans who will defend themselves upwards of 3 million times a year, and turn them into victims.

The classical Liberal idea of rights are freedoms guaranteed do you by limitations on the government.

The Progressive idea of rights is a false sense of security purchased by bureaucratic tyranny a loss of freedom.

This shows nothing but their contempt for the real Bill of Rights.

More projecting from David Hogg, this time about the NRA

David Hogg tweeted about the NRA-AM.

This is beyond ridiculous… unless you see things from his point of view.

The March for Our Lives was created using the Parkland kids by a coalition  of Left Wing activist groups including The Women’s March, MoveOn.org, Everytown for Gun Safety, and funded by wealthy Progressive celebrities and business people – Michael Bloomberg, George Clooney, and George Sorors among them.

So Hogg’s experience in political activism is very top down and authoritarian.

He assumes that his enemies, the NRA, are structured the same.  So to him, the President and Vice President of the US are there as part of the top down mobilization effort.

He cannot fathom that the NRA is made up of five six million US citizens lobbying the government, that we still believe is “by the people for the people,” for what we want by reaching deep into our own pockets to create record donations.

It’s like a fish trying to understand what it means to be wet.

We’re not bringing out the POTUS and VP to assure us.  We’re bringing out the POTUS and VP as a show of strength.  We have the power to bring the two most powerful men in the country to our annual meeting to remind them the might we can wield on election day.

I support the Socialist Revolution in America for this one reason

There is a scene in the movie Doctor Zhivago that has always stuck with me.

The Doctor comes home after the war to find his family’s home being divided up into housing for other Soviet families.  The people being put into the house are poor so they are looting everything.  Doctor Zhivago watches this in horror and watches as the Commissars let it happen.  The Doctor is then allowed to live in the master bedroom of what was once his house.

I can’t find the whole scene on YouTube but just the following scene which captures when one of the Commissars scolds him for having too much.

I bring this up because Michael Moore tweeted this:

His assets were listed as part of his divorce in 2014.

He owns nine houses and had a net worth of over $50 million.  It has likely grown since then.

The one upside to a Socialist Revolution in the United States is this.

Michel Moore going to one of his nine houses to find a bunch of Antifa thugs looting it and squatting in its many bedrooms.  Then when he starts bitching about it, one Antifa thug taking his fat ass outside and shooting him the back of the head.

If there is anybody in America that deserves to experience “true Socialism” first hand, it’s him.
