Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Chuck Schumer is a moron.

“I am sounding an alarm that come Aug. 1, America is going to get a lot less safe when it comes to the gut-wrenching epidemic of gun violence,” Schumer said. “Ghost guns are not only scary, they’re outright dangerous in the way they can mimic the look and the capacity of a hardened, fully semiautomatic weapon.”

Sen. Chuck Schumer warns of coming online blueprints for ‘ghost guns’

I can’t even begin to figure out what the hell is he trying to say. Ghost guns are like gun impersonators that are soft to the touch or soft as in consistency? This is dumber than the ATF agent saying that Airsoft AR15 could be converted to shoot ammunition.

And he repeats the “fully semi automatic” load of crap again, I guess it sounds dangerous enough to scare people into vote for him.

Sorry, I have to bring back this meme:

Getting those calls about the Primary Elections.

I am getting called almost every night to answer polls. And I love the fact that some of those polls are not quite polls but not-so-well disguised political advertisement.

I just finished with one of those “polls” brutally slanted towards the Democrats. I decided to have fun with the answers and the “poll taker” must thought he was dealing with the re-incarnation of Pinochet. One of the questions was memorable:

Poller: If a candidate refused to not only support a ban on “Assault Weapons” but also attacked Parkland High School Survivors, what would be your choice: Very likely vote for him, somewhat likely vote for him, somewhat unlikely vote for him or very unlikely vote for him?
Me:   He attacked Parkland High School Survivors?
Poller:  Yes he did.
Me:  Fuck yes, I am more likely voting for the sumbitch.

Hey, it is cheap fun!

Liberalism is a dangerous mental illness. The Thurman Blevins incident.

She is running for office in Minnesota. She is talking about an officer involved shooting on June 23, 2018. The suspect, Thurman Blevins, was shot as he was running away from police with a handgun. I don’t think she has a slight concept of what actually happened and how’s reality out there.

“He ran, yes. He was armed, yes. He reportedly was drunk and had fired shots, yes. All of those things might have led to his death, but none of them had to. I don’t understand why calmly starting a conversation wasn’t an option or wouldn’t have been a better course.”

And of course, Twitter is chuck full of Police experts that know it was excessive to shoot Blevins:

Best reply to the pearl clutchers and hand wringers? this one:

People in MN are losing their collective brain about the last statement. I will recommend that although truthful, we of the civilian branch should know better that utter something like that as we do not want to give our enemies any ammo to use against us.

Who wants to tell him? PA Attorney General stops 3D Gun Blueprints all by himself.

New Jersey did the same thing.  Obviously these people have no idea how the Internet works in real life. I want to bet they do believe what they see on TV and that is why they do stupid stuff like this. And of course, there is the element of grandstanding in front of the voting folks as being tough on crime.

I bet he is so savvy about the internet, he even has his own GeoCities page.
