Miami Beach Mayor swears to protect school children.

Former Mayor Levine is a full member of the Gun Control cadre. He is not only in favor of the “Assault Weapons” ban but wants all Florida Gun Laws to be revised and control be given to localities to enact their own gun control regulations as he believes it would control crime at a local level better.

As a Mayor he did an excellent job transforming Miami Beach from a tourist destination to… well, look at it yourselves.

Mayor Levine could not keep control of 15 square miles of town surrounded in all sides by water. Miami Beach (pop +90,000) is like the worst strip joint you could ever imagine without the benefit of bouncing titties. Yet he wants you to believe he will keep 2.6 million children in 4,269 schools safe from danger.

Yeah, right.

Parlkand Puppet Parents.

Andrew Pollack lost his daughter Meadow when the asshole Niki Cruz went into his rampage. A video surfaced of an interview with a Stoneman Douglass Security Monitor who apparently failed to follow protocol.

Pollack was appointed to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission by Gov. Rick Scott. He has been extremely critical of the Broward School district and the Broward Sheriff’s Office, and has created a messaging campaign to promote safety measures in schools, such as metal detectors. He was among the group of parents whose lobbying helped push a gun-control and school-safety bill through the Florida Legislature this year.

Parkland parent resigns from state commission to investigate Stoneman Douglas shooting

So now we have another Parkland Parent, outraged by the failures of the government entities in charge of the school and its safety. Although I might understand that under the pain of the death of a child, they could have been led the wrong way by politicians intent on advance Gun Control, that does not excuse any of them from not even acknowledge they were wrong and the NRA and Florida Gun Owners deserve an apology for all the name calling and the bad legislation passed while using their kids’ bloody shirts.

Then again, I am not expecting things will change anytime soon. Fear not, these two security monitors will be properly reprimanded and sent away to other locations or jobs if at all. Nobody in the Broward School Board will lose its job, nor will the School Superintendent and other than a shuffling of positions, nobody in the Broward Sheriff’s Office will suffer for their incompetence.

And the next school shooter is already preparing for his great entrance.

And we will be blamed again.

This is what happens when you left idiots unupervised in Twitter.

I admit my English is not the best in the world, but I see a bit ( a lot) of idiocy above.

You know somebody is using what he considers fancy words to up his status as future political celebrity, but my guess is that he should take summer school and engage in some remedial classes…or at least learn how to use a dictionary.

But it is the NRA’s fault: Parkland School Admin Ignored Warnings Of Vulnerability To School Shooting

By now we have a field of red flags with enough warning flares shot to make a decent Fourth Of July fireworks display.

We’ve been covering the Parkland shooting here at LI, and it doesn’t look good for either the school itself or the Broward Country Sheriff’s office.

Adding to the controversy, a retired Secret Service agent has come forward to report that he told Stoneman Douglas High School administrators that the school was vulnerable to a school shooting.

This was two months prior to the Parkland shooting, and the school admin did next to nothing.

Report: Parkland School Admin Ignored Warnings Of Vulnerability To School Shooting

And I don’t see the outrage within the party that swears has the best interest for schools. I don’t see the same politicians that constantly scream “Do it for the Children!” even offer a word of ire.  The opportunity after the Parkland Shooting was never about hardening our schools but to promote Gun Control. The corpses of the kids and the grieving parents  were just excellent props to achieve those Gun Controls laws and now, the same politicians are not giving a shit about them.

Tampa Bay Times & Fake News: Background Check were performed after all.

It is like The Tampa Bay Times accidentally did it on purpose or something like that:

Now the info is coming that it was not the suggested 268,000 approves applicants but the smaller number of 365 and not even that way because background checks were performed. What did not happen was the 365 checks were not uploaded to the Department of Licensing database by this particular employee.

Here is part of an email by Marion Hammer sent just a while ago.

Background checks were done through FCIC (Florida Criminal Information Computer system) and NCIC (National Criminal Information Computer system — the national FBI fingerprint data base) and they also did a NICS check (National Instant Check System), which is the name-based background check system.

The NICS system is the same system used by retail firearms dealers to do background checks when a person buys a firearm.

ALL THREE BACKGROUND CHECKS WERE DONE.

During the time the employee failed to do her job, approximately 350,000 applicants for carry licenses were processed. Of those 350,000, 365 had a disqualifier based on the NICS background check.

The employee should have uploaded those 365 into the internal computer system to stop the processing of those applications. She did not. So those 365 applicants got their licenses anyhow.

Let’s go back to math. 365 applicants out of 350,000 were not properly vetted by an irresponsible worker. That comes about at 0.14% of failure or 99.86% of the applications vetted the right way by the rest of the employees of the Division of Licensing during that period of time.

When the Division discovered the problem, the employee was let go. The Division then ran new background checks on all 365 applicants who initially had NICS name-based disqualifiers. Of those 365, 74 were cleared and 291 still had disqualifiers, so their licenses to carry firearms were immediately suspended.

Shit will happen, by accident of by human failure, anybody saying you can get 100% results is lying to you which incidentally is what Gun Control says every time they shove a new bill down everybody’s throat.  “So something like this will never happen again!” is a familiar chant from the Opposition.

Once again, what the Tampa Bay Times probably did was a political hatchet job against Adam Putnam because he is running for Governor and the “Blue Wave” must be created.  This is the same Newspaper who went to great lengths to collate Stand Your Ground Cases and then denounce the law as racist against African Americans but its own data revealed that the law favored blacks by an almost 3 to 1 ratio compared to Whites.

Label this piece of journalism from the Tampa Bay Times as Fake News, the same fake news Gun Owners have been a target off for more than thirty years.
