Babylon Bee is a Christian satire website and they posted a funny about CNN and a washing machine. Then this happened

Facebook  is warning the person that the link he shared may not be the truth.  And it has the Snopes seal of Veracity to boot.

Babylon Bee did the smart thing and struck back with more satire:

Even with all the advances in computers, software, AI and the rest, there is an old concept that remains very much valid since when computers were the size of an Abrams Tank:

GIGO: Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Delta Airlines $40 million dumb business decision over 13 passengers.

How many airline passengers does it take to kill a $40 million tax break for Delta Air Lines? 13.
The Georgia legislature removed a jet-fuel tax break from a larger tax package Thursday. Lawmakers were upset that Delta, which is headquartered in Atlanta, dropped the National Rifle Association from a discount-fare program in an effort to appear neutral on gun policy.

After the firestorm, Delta will review all its marketing programs to avoid those that might become political, CEO Ed Bastian announced Friday.

But the airline said only 13 passengers ever bought tickets with an NRA discount. That translates into each discount costing the airline about $3 million in tax breaks.

The number of Delta Air Lines passengers who bought tickets with NRA discount: 13

Words fail me, mostly because I am laughing so hard.

Robocall against Arming Teachers: That backfired a bit.

I just got a Robocall in which and indignant woman was telling me about the evils of arming teacher and making our schools dangerous. I was about to hang up when I hear her say “Press ‘1’ to connect with your representative.” No, It could not be that easy!

So I pressed one and I got connected to my rep’s staff who dutifully recorded my vote in favor of arming teachers.

And now excuse me while I go fetch me a cup of joe.

How a Schools shooting promtly disappears from the Media radar.

It happened about one hour ago in Central Michigan University.

“ZOMG! Another School shooting! A dastardly NRA-Fueled Monster killing our babies! BAN THE NRA! SHOOT GUN OWNERS IN THE FACE!”

Then, the facts appear. And rather fast for this kind of stuff.

“Oh Dear! What could have happened to that poor child to express his feelings in such a sad and destructive manner? He needs empathy from us.
And in other news…”

Don’t even try to deny it.

Are Florida Democrats are unkowingly doing the NRA’s bidding?

The clock is ticking for the 2018 session of the Florida Legislature and SB 7026, a bill that the NRA wants deader than dinosaurs.

Now comes the weekend and suddenly we are only 5 day away till the Senate and the House close their doors for the legislative year.

I have been checking the calendar for today and I don’t see SB 7026 up for discussion today (cross thy fingers) or even Monday or Tuesday. That does not mean it won’t be introduced, but I want to be optimistic just a tad and say we won’t see movement till Monday.

So, with the time short, why are the Democrat piling amendments to the bill? As far as I know, each has to be read, explained, voted on and approved or rejected. That takes time, a lot of time and it is irritating since they are repeating the same items over and over.

As of this moment (10:05 AM EST) there are 85 amendments attached to the bill.

Are the Florida Democrats looking to kill the bill? It appears so and I don’t think we would be sad about it. About the only good part of the bill being arming volunteer teachers is hated by Governor Scott, so basically there is nothing left for anybody, at least anybody interested in the Bill of Rights.

This could prove to be interesting.
