Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

They went ahead and pissed off LawDog.

An epic rant that only he can deliver.

And — quite frankly — if you wear a badge, and you hide behind a car while children under your protection are getting killed, you should have the common [deleted] decency to take your sidearm, find a quiet country road somewhere, and Do The Proper Thing.

Sickened – The LawDog Files.

If we were ***holes…

We would start our own campaign to pressure vendor into stopping doing business with the Broward Sheriff’s Office.  No more guns sold to BSO, no more ammo, no vests, no uniforms, etc.

But NRA members are classy people who understand that not all BSO deputies are a shit like the Sheriff or the cowardly scum that stayed outside when kids were being mowed down by Nick Cruz.

So, no boycott. In fact let them buy as much shit as they want since the same companies do support the NRA with contributions.

OK, most NRA members are classy. We are a few exceptions.

It’s Too Late – Broward County School Board Beginning to Admit Their Mistakes? – The Last Refuge.

Broward County schools intentionally created polices from 2011 through 2015 that culminated in the 2018 mass school shooting in Parkland. We know this with great specificity because five years ago we warned Broward County Florida school board members this could happen.

Not only read this article, but digest the entire investigation.

Fair warning, you will be pissed off when you are done.

A necessary celebration of cowardice: Defending Deputy Scot Peterson.

The Left has swiftly moved to celebrate and defend Beta Man/Pajama Boy with a badge.  What Deputy Peterson did has to be normalized, it has to be excused. That an adult will not and must not risk his or her life to defend Children has to be considered natural even though defending the young ones is one of the most basic instincts across  evolved species. Mama Bear is a myth and daddies really don’t give a shit about their daughters has to be the new normal.

And it is all for a reason. As many found out the hard way by the failing actions of Scot Peterson and three other deputies who failed to go inside the school, you are your own and only first responder. And that is a troubling truth that the Gun Control does not want to be heard because it destroys the altar of Gun Free Zones and the belief that only the Government is capable and thus allowed to defend you. If that goes unchallenged, they cannot stop arming teachers and eventually the elimination of Gun Free Zones. And let’s face it: the corpses of school kids is a great fundraising call for Gun Control groups.

And at the same time they are defending the indefensible, they are fully fledged engaged into insulting teacher by calling them both cowards and unable to operate one of the simplest tools in history.  And teacher reps are gladly repeating this mantra in front of every camera there is, confirming that his fellow pedagogues are just imbeciles that only by a miracle of Good are able to drive a vehicle without drooling all over themselves and end up in a ditch.

Here is a guy I engaged with earlier today. He turned out to be Brit, but since there is a lot of Liberals that seem to be Modern Anglophile, his thoughts match what we have been hearing and reading.

I called him on the contradiction of his statement by asking “if a teacher sees a killer coming towards her class, she will rather be unarmed and die or armed and suffer “from the human failing of self preservation’ as she shoots the asshole down?”  It did not go well for him after that. He reluctantly admitted that Self-Defense is indeed a right of every human but he objected to guns and armed teachers. He reverted to the Wild West shtick and then… well it got a tad embarrassing:

Then he followed with the deluded definition of progress:

He disliked that but was polite about it. He went on to talk about his choice being not to have guns, but I reminded him that he really d

id not have a choice:

I closed (I was late with the “Honey-Do” list) by asking 2 simple questions: #1 Do you believe in the right for an individual to defend himself/herself? He answered, Yes.
Then it was to question #2: Why would you then deny them the best tools to do so?

He did not respond but to say we had different views and bid me a good day.

Ladies and gent, that is what we are fighting for: Freedom of Choice. The Opposition cannot allow a teacher to have the freedom to defend herself or she might demonstrate to the world that an armed woman can end Evil when it walks through the doors of her school. Instead of a Government-mandated Lamb, she is now Mama-Bear with her claws out and about to kill anybody threatening her cubs.

And if only once it were to happen that a Mass Killer gets stopped cold from collecting bodies by 60 year-old Mrs. Wilson, the Biology teacher, their prized concept of Gun Free Zones will collapse. Soon after citizens will challenge the concept of not being able to legally carry their weapons even if the are as law-abiding as the Packing Teacher and they would eventually win, either in court or in the Legislature. That would be a calamity for the Gun Control Movement.

BSO: When your department not only f***s up but takes credit for stuff it did not do.

(CNN)When Coral Springs police officers arrived at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 in the midst of the school shooting crisis, many officers were surprised to find not only that Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Peterson, the armed school resource officer, had not entered the building, but that three other Broward County Sheriff’s deputies were also outside the school and had not entered, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. The deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles, the sources said, and not one of them had gone into the school.

Some Coral Springs police were stunned and upset that the four original Broward County Sheriff’s deputies who were first on the scene did not appear to join them as they entered the school, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. It’s unclear whether the shooter was still in the building when they arrived.

Sources: Coral Springs police upset at some Broward deputies for not entering school

Somebody in Twitter commented this morning when only the news of the School Resource Officer was out,  that the only way Broward Sheriff’s Office could done a worse job was to hand Nick Cruz the rifle and send him inside the school.  Apparently the story is now “Hold my beer and watch this.” and it does not end there.

The resentment among Coral Springs officials toward Broward County officials about what they perceived to be a dereliction of duty may have reached a boiling point at a vigil the night of February 15, where, in front of dozens of others, Coral Springs City Manager Mike Goodrum confronted Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel. A source familiar with the conversation tells CNN that Goodrum was upset that the Broward deputies had remained outside the school while kids inside could have been bleeding out, among other reasons.

That was the night of the day after the shooting. Sheriff Israel already knew his deputies screwed up, yet he strutted in the Children’s Crusade Town Hall like he was the savior of the world and Keeper of All That Was Morally Pure in Broward county.

But wait, there is more!

Two days after the shooting, Coral Springs Police Chief Tony Pustizzi addressed some of the concerns voiced by his officers in an internal email obtained by CNN that said, among other items, “I understand that another agency has given the impression that it had provided the majority of the rescue efforts, and that the tremendous work of the Coral Springs Police and Fire Departments has not been recognized. Please know that this issue will be addressed, and the truth will come out in time. The focus for us now, however, must be on healing — for ourselves, our families, our community and those residents surrounding us. While recognition is not the reason we choose to do what we do, our Commission, City Manager and residents are well aware of the actions our members took in the face of danger and the heroes that you are.”

I am nauseated and at the same time, not surprised that the BSO honchos would go so low as to take claim for some other department’s work. Not for nothing, but good deputies will have the stain of being associated forever with a department that is being called “Cowards Sheriff Office.”

And yes, Sheriff Israel will be re-elected. It is Broward County, Democratic Party stronghold and land of one Debbie Wasserman Schulz.

But don’t forget: It is the fault of the NRA and its members.

Florida Legislature’s Leadership has come up with a School Safety Proposal

In a press release, the leaders of the legislature announced several items and I am going to focus on the first three contained in Bill 7022

That would be Bill 7022:

Number one has to go. I thought we were done with the BS of having “special people with more special rights than you” even if they are LEO or Military.  And why does the Legislature think that an adult 18-19-20 years of age does not have the right to purchase the basic tools to defend himself/herself?  This is gonna lead to the inevitable Straw Purchase by people who will “figure out a way” to beat the law not knowing they can get in bigger troubles.

Number 2, Three-Day waiting period with the usual exceptions. No change there. I can’t find the Criminal History thing.

Number Three: It can go and I’ll be happy to see it disappear, but as expressed by many others and with my agreement, that ain’t a hill I am willing to die on.

What is in this bill is the Risk Protection Order. (IANAL Warning) But contrary to the one in California, this one is not as easy to obtain or that is what I think I read. It is a long piece of work and I read through it with civilian eyes, but I think it has been tailored not to conflict with the laws to protect possible mental patients or to avoid abuse of the law. I am gonna have to wait for brighter minds to interpret.

Then we have Bill 7024 which protects the addresses of Mass Shooting Victims. I have zero problem with that. And who is the disgusting ghoul who will go bother relatives of victims and/or survivors of something like that? (Your guess is the same as mine, I bet)

And then we have Bill 7026, Establishing the Office of Safe Schools within the Department of Education. At first glance, it looks like the Legislature will be proving several people with jobs which are basically “sit down and argue” how to do shit about schools. You are gonna get a headache reading through the BS. The Meat and Taters comes on the last quarter of the bill: Florida Sheriff’s Marshal Program (line 615).

Again with a quick read, I don’t see anything much that would make me hate this bill. It is the old Armed Teachers bill with some modification. One I like is that the approval of the Principal is no longer required and the school district may sponsor volunteers to go into the program. they pretty much nipped a veto from either two.

OK, read the bills and digest them so we can analyze them better. Use the comment section. Stay away from “Muh Rights!” and assorted BS that conducts to nothing useful in this instance.

If we can clog the plumbing till March 9th and have all bills stuck in the pipes, then we are set even if it means killing the School Marshall thing.

March 9th is the last day of the regular session of the Legislature. If t ain’t passed by then, that will be it till next year. And no, I don’t think Governor Scott is gonna call for a special session since he has his eyes set for Rubio’s vacating seat.
