Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

This life sentence starts with the right ingredients.

When the officer spoke at Rojas’ sentencing this week, he pulled out a bottle of the personal lubricant K-Y Jelly, the Florida Times-Union reports. “I brought a little gift for you,” the officer told Rojas, according to Action News Jax. “You will need it where you are going. ”Rojas, now 21, was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for trying to kill the officer and his son, News4Jax reports. Rojas was also convicted of two counts of aggravated assault, one count of grand theft auto and one count of fleeing or attempting to elude police.

With that face, you can be sure he will be biting that pillow a lot. I do believe some kids have not realized that Grand Theft Auto and similar video games do not properly represent what happens in real life…specially to your bunghole if you go to prison.

Oh well.

Road Rage = Playing Stupid games

“The driver of the tractor trailer did exit the vehicle and walk toward a black Nissan. The driver of the Nissan got out,” said Miami-Dade police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta. “There was a physical confrontation between both of them. We’re being told the driver of the tractor trailer was armed with a knife during the confrontation and that’s when the driver of Nissan produced a firearm and shot the victim in this case.”

Obviously this just happened and more info will come, but knowing how stingy with info MDPD can be, I think they pretty much have decided that this is a case of Self-Defense. So, short of the shooter being a prohibited person or other details we do not know, this seems to be a straight-forward but sad defensive event.

“But there is a law!” (And you can still be arrested & charged or sued.)

This is a quick one. I want people who understand that even if there is a law saying you are doing something legal, specially with guns, it does not mean you will not be arrested or sued in civil court. Ask any lawyer worth his/her salt.

And yes, more likely than not, the charges will be dropped and the lawsuit will be rejected, but by then you already spent money on bail, lawyers and all the nice things that come with the judicial process. Plus probably you lost income because you were not working which needs to be explained and the news will flash at your workplace and neighborhood and not under the best of lights.

So, be smart. Use all the tools you have available to avoid hearing “Bend over and spread your ass cheeks.”
