It will come a moment that stifling Free Speech and destroying monuments will not be enough to satisfy their thirst. Like good power junkies, the will demand their next fix be people.

Do expect payback for this one. Do not be surprised if a statute to Martin Luther King or some other Civil Rights icon will suddenly gets destroyed.

I might be very wrong, but I recall reading the story of David in my Bible and it was a one-on-one combat in one battle with one stone. Basically a matter of minutes and that was it. Shannon talks about 5 years?  Must be a very modern and MiniTruth version of the Scriptures.

So, what has happened in the  “less than 5 years”? I will grant that Moms and her “Business Manager” Michael Bloomberg have achieved some goals, but let’s review: We managed to get all 50 states with some Concealed Carry law. Several states now have Constitutional (permitless) carry that did not exist prior to Moms and more are on the way.  There are four states, the Territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia remaining to get Open Carry.

Stand Your Ground (possibly the most vilified and hated Self Defense item) is the written law of the land in 28 states and not one single state got Duty to Retreat bills out of their legislatures.  Florida expanded Immunity From prosecution to finally swift the burden of proof on the prosecution in Self Defense cases. Campus Carry is now allowed in 10 States with only 20 remaining s hardcore No Guns. The rest is starting to give certain leeway.

And, just to button this one up with a bit of fanfare: From 2013 to July 2017 there were 107,086,111 NICS Firearm Background Checks as in one hundred seven million, eighty six thousand, one hundred and eleven.

Not for nothing, but  Moms Demand has been less Davidian and more Lilliputian in their achievements against a perceived giant of an enemy of the People.

It is an eye opener because it shows that Liberals suddenly lost the faith in the Government to defend them (must be a Trump thing) and there is a suddenly tightening of sphincters.

I am sure Mr. Wong did his due diligence trying to learn about gun laws, but since he lives in California, what he discovered was not to his liking. And what he wants will surely have him removed from Shannon Watts’ Christmas Card list.

He had a momentary lapse of clarity, but who knows if it will last.

At least one of his friend/followers disagreed with him openly and fiercely. Others asked questions but I reckon they are still undecided. You have to understand that these people had a heavy emotional, moral and intellectual investment in Gun Control and they are being asked suddenly to drop it and go the other way.  That is not easy and in some cases, impossible.

And also it has to feel dumb to call for a Revolution armed only with chopsticks and a half bottle of kombucha.
