It seems that somebody at CBS News took the Media classes with Brady or Everytown and decided to come up with that terminology. The Evil Assault Pistol (Black, no less) found at the scene? Allegedly a TEC-9. (I could not get confirmation at the time of writing)

In July of 1993, Gian Luigi Ferri armed with a Chinese 1911 clone and two TEC-9s shot up a legal firm in San Francisco (yes, again the same city) killing 8 people. The TEC-9 became the Right Hand of Satan, the most hated gun in the Gun Control circles and an immediate favorite with Hollywood producers that still, to this day cannot make a California Gang movie without at least one TEC-9 redecoration some ghetto abode. You mention TEC-9 and the Old Gun Control freaks both salivate and feel tinges in their loins and will rise from their retirement homes to scream loudly about the killing machine. A lawsuit was brought against the company and even though they won, the legal expenses put them under which was the strategy which started to develop in that era against Gun Rights: Bankrupt the Gun Manufacturers.

The TEC-9 in my opinion was never that useful as a pistol and it only sold out because the Gun Control people made such a fuss about it.  What the MAC 10 was for the 80s and Miami Vice, the TEC-9 did it for the 90s and most of the Blood versus Crips Hollywood creations. And same as the latest Hollywood remakes of movies from that era, this new “paroxysm” will be short-sighted and short-lived.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State Police say shots were fired at a truck carrying a “Make America Great Again” flag and an American flag on eastbound I-465 Tuesday.Officers believe the shots were fired from a newer white 4-door Chevrolet Malibu with a Louisiana plate near Emerson Avenue around 4 p.m.The victim and a witness informed police that the Malibu pulled up next to the pickup truck, a passenger held a handgun out of the window and then a male fired several shots.Police say no one was in injured in the incident.The driver of the Malibu was described as a black male around the age of 23. The passenger was described as a light skinned black male with a sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Last night, I bumped into an online discussion where a Liberal was saying we needed to get together, talk and come up with a solution. It made me a tad upset and I replied like this:

There is no coming together: The Left is not interest in negotiating in good faith. They will tell you stories and swear in a stack of qurans that they are, but it is bullshit. You know how I know? This is not new for me. I am part of the Gun Culture and for well over three decades we have been weathering the Fake News (fancy that, and you thought it just happened last year with the Russians), being accused of every vile crime on the world without a single dash of evidence, threatened to have kids removed from their parents because they do competition shooting. Calls to have us incarcerated without due process and sent to Guantanamo? Almost daily from the Anti Gun Left.
We are subject to Constitutional infringements on our rights that would make the collective ACLU HQ shit in their pants and demand the heads of those in government doing so. And all this is just a small sample.

So what? Now one of your side crossed the line and drew blood and we are supposed to accept the bullshit rhetoric came from our side and submit to your ideas of tolerant living? Fuck that .
The Left has been stirring the pot while ignoring one fundamental detail: We, the assholes on the other side have been preparing for this for a long time. And we have a message:

And they are not going to negotiate in good faith. They are actually thinking they can take advantage of the situation and gain points. And maybe it may happen in D.C. with the RINO faction but the rest of America is tired and willing to shoot back.

And dear God, they better hope our side does not decide to shoot first.

Twenty Four hours after the Alexandria Shooting, the Narrative from the Left has been between “Not our Fault, it is your fault” with dashes of “They had it coming” served in a bed of glee and attaboys for the shooter.

Not only there is nor hint of remorse or even willingness to change the rhetoric, it seems that the drums are now beating harder for more people like  James T. Hodgkinson to step up and increase the violence. I foresee an increase on violent acts, specially Antifa attacks and for some reason I see them going hard after cops during marches. And the traditional “addressing of injustices via arson” will be making a big appearance.

But none of that really scares me. I mean, I fear people being hurt by the Stupid because they feel entitled to impose their views and kill if necessary, but again, that does not scare me.

What scares me is the silence from our side.

This is not a silence of the cowered. Not the silence of the scared. It is the silence of the people who has had enough and are seriously thinking on returning the favor and then some. I have mentioned many times in this blog that the Left has confused our politeness with cowardice and that was going to prove a costly mistake. I fear we have reached the time where politeness  is over and  demonstration of how wrong they were is about to begin.
