Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

The floods of Lying already open for the 2019 Florida Legislative Session.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CAPITOL NEWS SERVICE) – Newly-proposed legislation filed by Democratic state lawmakers wants to close loopholes that exempt private gun sales from background checks…

…“Eighty percent of guns used in violent crimes, were purchased without a background check,” said Representative Margaret Good.

Bill filed to create universal background checks for gun buyers

Representative Margaret Good

That would be HB – 135 Transfer of Firearms which is one of the Gun Control’s useless Holy Grails. I understand why she is lying: 1) Media won’t do a fact check even if it kills them and 2) we have a new slate of young voters who are just ripe to have their brains filled with bullshit. The same people who not long ago did the tide Pod challenge and now are starting to engage in the Bird Box Challenge, will not bother to actually use due diligence and find out the truth and find out that most guns used in crime come not from private sales of law-abiding individuals but illegal trafficking in stolen firearms.

Now, in all probability, she is trying to be smart/sneaky and say that purchasing a gun is purchasing a gun, whether among good citizens or felons. It is like saying that buying the hot rod you saw your neighbor build is the same as Ramon selling a carjacked Impala to a chop shop in Opa-Locka. Lying sacks of political manure will do that kind of thing betting that people will not catch up till it is too late, but it is OK to do because it is for their “safety.”

Parkland Kid Cameron Kasky finally admits he is not a victim nor a survivor.

J. Kb. warned me  about his tweets.

I have been pounding on the theme of “survivors” since I read about Emma Gonzalez saying she was in the auditorium when the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School began.  I also believe David Hogg was not in Building 12 but probably in Building 7 when Nikolas Cruz began his killing spree. and as much as I have tried, I can’t find a firm reference where was he hiding.  You’d figure if he was in Building 12 where the shooting occurred, he’d blast it high and wide, right?

The auditorium is Building 8.

It is the second tweet that is illustrative: He was comfortable with the label.  The label gave him gravitas, gave him importance and access to the media to push for gun control. And long as the Parkland Kids were the ben and Jerry flavor of the Liberal Month, they could do or say whatever and they were untouchable. He was a hero for Gun Control, he was famous, probably got laid and surely got swag, why would he relinquish the cape?

Alas, all good times come to pass in the Gun Control PR boat. The once celebrities that had all doors open, sudden realized that they come with an expiration date and they are about to cross it.  In the Parkland Kid’s case, they are already a couple of months or more pass the time they were tossed into the political compost bin.

Two years ago, I would say he realized the mistake he made and was trying to apologize and make amends. Unfortunately my reservoir labeled “Benefit of the Doubt” not only is empty but now holds a colony of meerkats. I believe somebody came to him, tired of his crap and told him straight and without decorations that being somewhere in the same zip code when the massacre occurred did not make him a victim.   Not being scandal proof nor covered in Media Teflon anymore, decided to cut his loses and sort of admit a little bit of wrongdoing.

Cameron Kasky climbed over the bodies of his fellow students long after the shooting was over and used them to prop himself high while waving the “gun safety” banner. That should be his only claim to fame.

He improved over the traditional tap-dancing on blood of the victims, I give him that.

This is nasty even for Venezuelan Standards. (Graphic Content)

One region in Venezuela that is like the infamous Wild West that really never happened is the West-South West where the gold and diamond mining camps are located. There is not an accurate account of how many people are in the area nor there is a crime report other than knowing that murders happen.

But this one? This one is new to me anyway: This is a 19-year-old soldier who was reported AWOL on back in December and was found on a trail yesterday. According to the reports, his hands and tongue were cut off and his eyes gouged.

Rumors say he had deserted the Army, went to work in the mines and was caught stealing so punishment was issued. It is a very bloody/appealing narrative, but illegal miners are not that “thoughtful”, they just pop a round in your brain pan and leave you in the jungle as food for the critters.

This looks more like a careful warning to the government, both Army and l;aw enforcement: Stay away from the camps.

I do believe it will work rather well. There was never a heavy government presence in the region when Socialism was not in charge and I doubt that the almost starving soldiers are willing to risk their appendages for gold and diamonds they will never get to use to buy food.

Women are merciless! (Beverage Alert… I am not kidding.)

There seems to be a wee bit controversy about a picture posted by a boutique in Facebook.

There were some comments about the picture, specifically about the swimsuit and the company made the dumb decision to come back with an accusation of body shaming (shit you not.) And that opened the flood of comments hilarious comments and retorts by women! I am sure that the saltiest of men among us would not dare go that far.

These are only some I managed to clip before I had to give up. I was laughing so hard, I got belly cramps, There are at least ten thousand over four hundred thousand comments and sub-comments and simply I can’t keep up with them. If you feel brave, you can click here to see the post in Facebook.

Yellow Vest Protest in France still a thing?

It seems that are now beginning the 10th week of breaking stuff and eating tear gas.  Some people on our country are following the Yellow Vests as if they were some sort of followers of the Founding Fathers because they call themselves conservatives and the Media tagged them with te sobriquet of Right Wing. They are not.

After 50 years of social indoctrination that started back in May of 1968, what you are seeing is two versions of socialist going at each other. To frame it somehow, you are seeing a fight between Trotskyists and Stalinists with the latter being nicer than the originals.

What also gave me pause is the celebration of the display of “guillotines” as symbol of the Yellow Vest revolution.

If anything the French Revolution taught us was that the machine needs to be fed and it does not care about the guilt or innocence of the morsel they are about to slice. The same principle was applied later during the Stalinists purges: They ran out of enemies for the basements in Lubyanka and they stopped being choosy who they arrested and took for ballistic treatment to the back of the head.

So basically you have a confrontation you can watch for fun and not get mad if one side loses because both are from the same vein.

“Sick of the NRA? Read this. ” (A report from somebody in the trenchlines.)

We (Magpul) yelled at our lobbyists to kill it. NSSF was trying to kill it. NRA was trying to kill it. But…Trump apparently dislikes two things in the firearms world: bumpfire stocks and elephant hunting, for reasons that are his own. So a veto was not happening. So…what’s your play? You can say “No bans, not one inch” and send out a fundraising email, and everyone would feel good about the NRA position, but the ban would have passed, and the Dems would potentially have everything they needed for a semi-auto ban already in law, ready to be interpreted nefariously

Sick of the NRA? Read this.

I am sharing this post because the author went in to do actually warfare and found out the reality of how the baloney is made. I have said since day one I am not a writer but a pamphleteer,  so maybe I am not coming across the right way and this article will clear things for you. Please, click on the link and read the article.

Repealing the NFA, as much as I want that to die, has about 5% support in Congress right now. You’re not getting that legislatively unless you change out 95% of Congress, no matter how hard we could push for it, or how many “strong statements” anyone makes.

I want to once again repeat that we cannot hold ourselves hostages to NFA. If you measure the value of the NRA because of your ability to bet a MP-5 for $300 at your local Gun Show, you are setting you and everybody else for failure.

It is up to you.
