Governor Scott signed into law  the Shall Issue Carry Licenses for Military & Vets on Friday the 13th. Those under 21 who served in our Military can now get a Florida Concealed Weapons Permit and damn skippy they should.

As it happens with horror movies, the Antis got a meat cleaver to the back of the neck while they were gallivanting with other stuff…like playing the race card.

To all our vets, welcome home, welcome home and welcome to the Sunshine State.

Spread the love

  1. With all due respect to those who served their country,,,,,is this the best idea? Really? A W.W.II vet can just go and get a CCW with nothing further because he shot a rifle once in basic 60 + years ago? What you may or may not have done in the military has NOTHING to do with “carrying a concealed handgun” for personal protection. Sorry, I find this to be flawed.

    1. Actually those very old vets were covered before since they were older than 21 years of age. This eliminates the 21 and over requirement for those who served in the military and left with good standing. They still have to go through the background check, fingerprints, photo and the rest that is specified in 790.06. Instead of a certificate from an instructor, they can show copy of their DD214. We’ve been doing this for a quarter of a century now.

  2. Remember cops and military are the only ones qualified to have guns…except when cops and military want to exercise their rights.

The uniforms have special powers, it would appear.

Or perhaps they have an agenda that isn’t exactly honest….

  3. ROFL. Dude that’s PRICELESS. I might just have to hie on over to CSGV to see if they’ve even noticed yet! Can’t lie…if they have I’m gonna thoroughly enjoy the screaming. *every evil grin*

  4. No by the way it doesn’t appear CSGV caught this one. Either that or they’re not stupid enough to suggest that soldiers can’t be trusted with guns.
Seeing how that’s been the anti gun mantra from the beginning. Only Soldiers and Cops, IOW those with “proper training” should be allowed to carry guns.

I suspect it’s probably the latter
