At least when it AD’s (the hammer is back and I don’t see a safety) he has zero chance of shooing himself in the foot. I just don’t want to be the person behind him.

It’s been said that this was done in protest.
However, when bystanders are thinking “Thank God this moron isn’t allowed to carry an actual gun!”, then the protest is a fail.
