Now this is damn purty even if you don’t go for the luxury thing.

Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

For those who don’t know, that’s a Turnbull TAR-15, which is lo longer in production:

Beautiful, if I could afford it I would prefer an english double rifle done like that. However, I’d have to win the lottery or rob a bank before that happens.
Love the wood furniture. Always wanted to do that to one of mine.
The fancy schmancy upper & lower? Meh.
Easy enough to get. That set looks like Black Guns Wood furniture, going off the grip shape.
Pretty easy to install but check the options for the right handguard.

Ooh! 😀 Thanks for the link. Those pics make me… “emotionally erect.” LOL! Now to check which one to convert.
While on the subject of wood furniture, do you happen to know of a place to get wood furniture for a FN-FAL? There used to be a couple out there but most have gone the way of the dodo before I had chance to order. Was busy stocking up on cheap ammo during the dark years of the progtard’s *Chosen One* and my credit card will only stretch so much before breaking. 😉
Thx!
Re FALs, sorry; I don’t have one myself so never had the inclination to really look.
In my case, Mrs. B is a woodworker, so I did this as a surprise for her. BCM will – or did – sell assembled uppers with delta ring etc but no handguard, making it very easy on that front also. But … do buy the tool to let you easily install and remove handguards locked by the front sight block. I forget the exact name but it made installing the wood forearm halves very easy.
It came out looking pretty darned good in person. (Always a concern when buying wood products online.) Better when held by a beautiful redhead, of course.
Yep, that’s a Turnbull! Beautiful work, and a collector piece. Sadly i’d shoot it, since I don’t believe in safe queens… 🙂
It has to be shot at least one full mag.
[…] Huh? […]
