Armed customer shoots dollar store robber, killing him – U.S. News.
The man was found dead when police arrived at the scene. No charges are pending against the shooter, WOKV.com said.
“He’s always been a marksman,” the man’s wife told Jacksonville.com. “He shoots in competitions, but this is the first time he’s ever killed anyone and I don’t know how he’ll handle that.”
I keep saying it: I rather have a competitive shooter in any discipline next to me than some “guru” in a black polo shirt with a cool tacticool logo that badmouths any Action Shooting Sport.

her talking to the “press” was a bad idea and saying what she did was worse.
A “controllable” wife is a myth. 🙂
Wait for the Japanese to invent robot wives.
Even then, they might not be controllable either.
That will be the new wave of Japanese “Let’s destroy the crap out of Tokyo” movies like in the 60s
“We thought we could control them this time.
We were wrong.”
I don’t understand why some of the high speed low drag/high cost low brains kind of tacticool operator instructors don’t like competition sports. Being able to get shots off accurately while under pressure, most likely with the adrenaline pumping, making split second decisions, and heart racing. Conditions where it sounds something like what you would expect in real life.
