He “possumend” the taser shot…. which is why the smart standard is 2 officers: One with non-lethal and the other with the real guns
Or he recovered quickly.
Some guys of my school (gunsmith school) always went to the “Taser” booth at the IWA in Nuremberg to, you know, get themselves tasered*.
The reactions to beeing tasered were quite different but a quick recovery was always possible. If one of the electrodes loses contact the officer can not deleiver a follow up shock.
*) they stopped that demonstration a few years ago, I would say even before 2010 when I left school. Propably for liability issues.
The other thing to notice is that the perps first move after recovery was to cut/slash the connecting wires.
