Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Kalifornia again. Wonder what it was that got them to target that particular car.

Unoccupied parked cars are a target everywhere, some neighborhoods more than others, but I notice that the smash ‘n’ grabs and “stroll-by” armed robberies seem to be proliferating in Kali and not in places like, say, Florida, Tennessee, Texas and so on. Gosh, I wonder what the difference could be?

Thinking about Waukesha and all the similar events, I’m starting to think it would be a public service for the first intended victim of the long-rap-sheet criminals to apply Permanent Corrective Action at the scene of the first attempted violent crime. Who knows, the street crim you shoot decisively today might prevent him becoming the Quick Release Crim who Fords your mother next week or burglarizes your sister’s apartment.

  2. You even get that within states, Bend is 3 hours from Portland but even at the height of rioting the protests stayed peaceful, downtown windows stayed unbroken and violent crime was a fraction of Portland. Having a dozen gun shops for a population of 100,000 may have led people to do the math, or the protestor demographics were too upper class and the black block couldn’t spare any violent felons.
