New York had 411,000 cases and more than 32,000 deaths.

That’s not a nice, flattened curve.  That is exactly what we wanted to avoid in the first place.

The only reason NYC is tapering off is that they killed off a large percentage of the COVID vulnerable population already.

The only way to interpret this as “they did it correctly” is to take an instantaneous snapshot in time and compare current deaths to other states.  Not to compare the area under the curve since the beginning of the outbreak.

Fauci is literally borrowing from 1984.

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.

the 32,000 plus people that New York killed back in April no longer exist in our memory.  Only the 11 dead on the 16th matter and that is less than the 156 that died in Florida on the same day.  That Florida has only had a total of 4,894 deaths, barely 15% of New York’s doesn’t matter.  That’s all history and nothing before Friday matters.

This is deliberate.

Andrew Cuomo is selling a propaganda poster called “New York Tough” which celebrates NY defeating the virus.

That mountain is 32,000 dead New Yorkers.

The center of his poster is 32,000 dead New Yorkers, but he’s treating it as some sort of victory.

But that is history and it doesn’t matter.  Only yesterday matters.

So therefore New York did it right.

The word Holocaust comes from Ancient Greek meaning sacrifice by fire.  It was used for the mass murder of the Jews under Nazi Germany because of the use of crematoriums to kill and incinerate the bodies.

The word Holodomor comes from Ukrainian meaning “great death by starvation.”

I would like to put forward the word Hololoimos (pronounced – holo-loy-mas), from the Greek meaning “sacrifice by pestilence” to describe what was done to New York by Cuomo and de Blasio.  Their bad policies and mismanagement sacrificed thousands of New Yorkers with the virus.

And just like the Holodomor, where the New York Times provided cover for Stalin because they were fellow travelers who believed the Soviet system, the Fauci and the media are providing cover for Cuomo and de Blasio because they are believers in Progressive Democrats.

Fauci, Cuomo, and anyone else who peddles this message can get fucked.

When is a lethal response justified

The City of Chicago took the extraordinary measure, in today’s political climate, of using the police to protect the statue of Christopher Columbus in Grant Park.

If you are unfamiliar with the statue, it was erected in 1933 to celebrate the centennial of the City of Chicago at the Century of Progress World’s Fair and was paid for by the Italian American community of Chicago.

Like every statue in America, except the statues of Lenin in New York and Seattle, the insane Left wanted to tear it down.

What ensued Friday night could only be called the Battle of Grant Park.  Twelve people were arrested and 18 police officers were injured.

Video from the scene is disturbing.

First, the minor point:  The protesters shouted, “Who do you protect?”

The answer is “law and order.”  The people seem to think that “protect and serve” means “protect and serve” the interests of the mob.

The bigger issue here is the objects, including fireworks launched at police.

A glass bottle or rock to the head is potentially lethal, not to mention severely injurious.

Fireworks are worse.  Fireworks are dangerous, especially the big mortar fireworks.  A firework is more than capable of blowing a hand to shreds (graphic image).

So it makes me wonder when people are throwing bottles and rocks at police, when they are attacking police with literal explosives, when 18 officers are injured and several go to the hospital, is not lethal force justified?

When a “protester” is launching black powder mortars at police, it seems perfectly reasonable for a SWAT offer to respond with a 168 grain OTM.

If a couple of these middle-class, Antifa, revolutionaries with Che posters on their wall end up on a slab like their hero, the movement will die off quickly.

These kids didn’t sign up for a real firefight.  They signed up to tournament police who are being held back by Leftist local government.

If the Police make it clear that trying a cave in a cop’s skull with a rock gets you a bullet for your trouble, all this shit will stop.

Peaceful Protestors in Portland do Arson Again.

Continue peaceful protests with peaceful arson.

The Federal building is the lightning rod now, but it seems Mayor Wheeler’s Antifa can’t penetrate it which is why I figure the “peaceful protesters” went after the local cop’s union building .

It has now become a game of perseverance and waiting to see who blink first. If the Feds stay the course, The “peaceful protesters” will seek other animal statues to vandalize or local business to destroy making making it once again a problem of the Portland city council and Antifa Mayor.

One last question, who is driving the “peaceful protesters” around town? I mean, I really don’t see them walking from downtown to the Portland Police Association out of cardio and the goodness of their revolutionary hearts.

Just silly questions my brain come up with during the first cup of coffee of the day.

Book Review: The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact with Hitler.

I mentioned this book before, and I just finally was able to finish it

The Collaboration: Hollywood’s Pact with Hitler is a book that will piss you off and at the same time, will not surprise you in the light of current events. It seems the Nazis were the original Cancel Culture and  exercised power enough to change movie scripts, make Hollywood edit  already finished productions because it may affect the sensibilities of the German people.  Oscar winning movies like All Quiet on the Western Front were actual shells of the original movie before it was gutted under the demand of the Nazis.   Why? Germany was the top consumer of Hollywood films outside the US and the Hollywood machine did not want to lose that income. It was so bad that there was an actual member of the Nazi government dedicated to go to the studios and push the studios to do as the Nazi Party censors wanted

Was a Jew the star or main character of a movie? Verbotten!  Jews who worked in the film received no credit least have the movie prohibited from exhibition in Germany  And it that was not enough, the Nazis “convinced” Hollywood magnates to have a say so in the approval of scripts before thy made it to pre-production. If something was amiss, a correction was demanded under the threat of banning movies from a studio to be banned forever in the Reich. But that was snot enough: Studios were told to get rid of the Jews working for them, first in in their Germany offices and then in most Europe. The studios complied. Jews were not acceptable to any product that might end up in front of the German people this they were cancelled.

Protesting in the streets? Things are done a bit different in Miami

MIAMI (WSVN) – A peaceful protest in downtown Miami led to some tense moments after, police said, a demonstrator walked into traffic and in front of a SUV that was part of a Cubans for Trump caravan.

Black Lives Matter protesters met in front of the Torch of Friendship, Saturday afternoon.

7News cameras captured demonstrators chanting and holding up signs. One of the signs read “Muslims 4 Justice” and another read “Silence is complicit.”

At one point, the Cubans for Trump Caravan drove by the rally. Cameras showed one of the protesters stepping in front of a black Mercedes-Benz SUV and appearing to jump a split second before he was struck by the vehicle.

Not quite accurate the narrative above.  Some idiot decided to play BLM Road Blocker like he probably has seen up in TV from up north and forgot he is in Miami.

He lost.

The guys with the gun? I don’t know, but by the reaction of the bearded guy, any interest in bum rushing offending cars apparently dissolved.

About the only smart thing that happened.
