Were Utah a truly civilized place, the governor’s next move would be to find a way to mandate the kind of mass vaccination campaign we should have launched a year ago, going as far as to deploy the National Guard to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere.

Knowing very little about the people of Utah, I believe that deploying the very few Guardsmen that would be stupid/drunk/high enough to obey such idiocy would amount to nothing more than target practice for the population, and the transfer to private hands of assorted military hardware left behind by those NGs who suddenly remembered they had business elsewhere and did a French tactical deployment to points unknown.

But it is the first few words that I want to focus on. I believe that by far, the Journalist Corps and the State Department (Diplomats and nearby sycophants) share the sentiment for the people they are supposed to serve: They despise them. They cannot stomach the idea they have to use their “intellect” and training on what those rubes need and are truly entitled to as citizens of this country, so they try to avoid doing it in the best of cases or standing against them if they can truly get away with it.

The members of The Salt Lake Tribune’s Editorial Board feel themselves languishing into oblivion in such a “backward” state. They would rather be part of the Intelligentsia News circles in New York City, Washington DC or at least Los Angeles or San Francisco. They can’t code (nor they can learn how to) and other being a teacher somewhere (Which would bring them in contact with the Little People, yuck!) they cannot do anything else but run a newspaper I am willing to bet is losing money and should go bankrupt the soonest.

If they hate Utah so much, I am sure their local U-Haul is full of moving trucks at exceptional rental prices if you are ready to take your belongings to points East and South where the demand for that equipment from people desperately trying to escape those “civilized places” is very high.

Or they can stay and cover (from the front) the National Guard when they go out and try to stop the Unvaccinated at gunpoint. The good People of Utah always need firearms and accuracy shooting training against moving targets.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM/AP) – The FBI Dallas Field Office confirmed the identity of the man who took four people hostage at a Colleyville synagogue for 10 hours before a SWAT team stormed the building, ending a tense standoff Saturday.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Matthew DeSarno identified the 44-year-old British national as Malik Faisal Akram.

Akram was shot and killed after the last of the hostages got out at around 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Congregation Beth Israel.

The longer it takes for authorities to identify a suspect, the more the likely the suspect is from an inconvenient ethnic group for the Narrative.

COVID-19: Democratic Voters Support Harsh Measures Against Unvaccinated

A new Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of voters favor President Joe Biden’s plan to impose a COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the employees of large companies and government agencies. That includes 33% who Strongly Favor the mandate. Forty-eight percent (48%) are opposed to Biden’s vaccine mandate, including 40% who Strongly Oppose the mandate.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters would oppose a proposal for federal or state governments to fine Americans who choose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine. However, 55% of Democratic voters would support such a proposal, compared to just 19% of Republicans and 25% of unaffiliated voters.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. 

Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. 

Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. 

47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program for those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

More than half of Democrats want you fined and imprisoned in your home for not getting vaccinated, half want you fined or imprisoned for questioning the vaccine, nearly half want you hauled off to a COVID internment camp,  and almost a third want your kids taken from you.

Again, all the data shows the vaccine does not stop a person from catching or transmitting thr virus.  At most it reduces the duration, severity  and mortality of the virus.  So getting the vaccine does little to nothing to slow the spread and protect society, again at best it is an individual protection reducing the likelihood of a severe reaction.

So any pseudo altruistic motivation for vaccination, i.e., “get vaccinated to protect grandma,” is null and void.

This is purely about compliance.  When the government demanded you get a vaccination, did you comply or resist?

So now we know the rate at which Democrats will imprison you and take your children for not obeying some octogenarian career bureaucrat.

I keep saying we are headed into something terrible.

Roughly half of Democrats, who make up more than half of the electorate, or slightly more than one quarter of the county, wants to put the other half under house arrest or in internment camps.

There is no way that situation is sustainable or can be resolved peacefully.
