If there was a version of the bloody Khmer Rouge in Latin America, it was Shinning Path with this bloodthirsty psychopath at the helm. He died in prison, on a taxpayer’s bed which is something his victims never got to do.

Since I can’t find a photo of his corrupt dead body, I will cherish this other image from back after he was arrested and shown to the Media. Perhaps the best Perp Walk ever.

I am painfully aware that my rifle skills are between zero and the guy in Africa wearing a floating device shooting the AK 47 sideways from the hip. I made the decision to go ahead and go to an Appleseed event and finally learn the basics of shooting a rifle.

And I love Tennessee. There are 4 Appleseed events next month and two are an hour or less from home. There is so much shooting stuff here that I am going crazy trying to decide what to do.

I’ll give you guys the AAR when the time comes. And no, I am not expecting to come with the patch my first time around.

9:02 am on 9/11.  That’s when this was posted.  20 years, almost to the minute from when the attack occurred.

I don’t need to repeat the numbers to disprove this.

If why is is wrong and evil is not apparent at face value there is nothing I can say to change your mind.

This is the Democratic Party today.

This is what they’ve become.

This woman is a professor at Syracuse University.

Because, of course, something this horrible could only come out of a University.

This attitude is purposeful to justify more attacks on innocent Americans because they (we) uphold this system.

The Left has become a group that cheers on 9/11 and hopes for more of them.

One officer was injured but by strikes because dumb ass critter’s gun jammed and he had to use it as impact weapon. None of the deputies were shot. And yes, dreadlock boy is no longer contributing to global warming with his CO2 emanations.

Lessons learned: Shit happens like this (finger snap) and also, make sure your firearm works properly.

And I admit the mag dump was rather nice.

I feel the same way Miguel does about 9/11 twenty years later.

I am going to go the other way by trying to post as much nice material about that day as I can.

The World Trade Center was on the southern tip of Manhattan Island.  Many people who evacuated and headed south, found themselves trapped against the water, there were no bridges or tunnels south of the WTC that allowed them to get off the island and out of harm’s way.

What happened next was the largest civilian boat lift in American history as ferry operators, cater boats, and even guys with pleasure craft powered towards the island and the death and destruction to rescue strangers.

I knew about the Cajun Navy and Redneck Army that went in with fishing boats and mud boggers to rescue people in the Gulf states after hurricanes, I did not know that there was a New York version that did the same after 9/11.

That day was horrible beyond words to describe, but even in the worst of times there are Americans who rise to the occasion and give everything they have to help their fellow men, and today I want to celebrate that.

The day The Queen sang the American national anthem in solidarity with the victims of 9/11

When the UK national anthem is played, The Queen stands as the public sings to her. She doesn’t sing a national anthem; she is The Queen. However, one occasion had such an impact, that Her Majesty broke with her tradition and sang the American national anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner.”

The occasion was the memorial service held at St Paul’s Cathedral for the victims of the 9/11 attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. As she does not sing anthems, when “The Star Spangled Banner” was played in the cathedral, she joined in and was later seen wiping a tear from her eye.

That is an amazing show of solidarity between two nations over a tragedy that changed the course of world history.
