Guilty on all charges.
This is going to go to appeal. Even the judge agreed that Maxine Waters was a bad influence.
Police will quit en masse, there is no reason to be a cop anymore.
Self defense is done. “It’s better to be judged by twelve than carried by six” means nothing. You will not get a fair trial, the mob will have you convicted and executed.
Mob rule is now how our judicial system operates.
We are a civilization in rapid decline to banana republic status.
God help us all
Sadly unsurprising.
Just think… if the judge had declared a mistrial, he and his family could have reenacted the climactic scene from Njal’s Saga.
Fair trials haven’t been a thing, in high-profile cases, for decades now. It’s just gotten a lot more blatant.
I wonder if in a few centuries, among the ruins of the American Empire, people will huddle in churches asking for the blessings of lord Floyd. A drugged out POS who’s being deified by the masses.
Self-defense is fine, so long as you don’t defend yourself against anyone “diverse”.
The decline has been readily apparent for quite a while now. The falsified national election last November was the big reveal in the ossified dumbrocrat plans to convert the USA into a third world nation.
This victory for the Democrats and their feral devotees will only serve to embolden and anger them even more. If I were a cop in an urban area or even a liberal suburb, I’d be seriously exploring other employment options. Chauvin’s guilt or innocence is almost irrelevant, it’s the continued attack on the rule of law that is most worrisome and this case will make things worse.
I still can’t believe this.
What have I been saying about the courts?
The mob is going to get everything they want every time forever. And will the Democrats. Here’s the problem with that for them: they are going to get everything they want. I don’t think they realize what they’re going to be living in. We do but their minds don’t operate like that.
My take?
If you have to defend yourself, make sure you’re the only one in a position to say what happened.
Andrew Branca summarized it perfectly IMHO:
Chauvin trial jury foreman:
“So, I figure our choices are:
1. Guilty on all counts, and call this a wrap; or
2. Not guilty on even a single charge, wake up tonight inside a burning house, inside a burning city, inside a burning state, inside a burning nation.
Indeed. Now the interesting thing: if any of the jurors says so where it’s recorded, that would utterly wipe out the case. Appeal because of all the usual arguments that can be made here is an iffy proposition, but a jury verdict based on improper considerations like that is a different matter entirely.
In other words, Nelson & Chauvin now have to hope for words of that effect to leak, either on video or in some interview.
And the mob is still going to burn the city down. In “celebration” instead of outrage.
But somehow I don’t think the owners of the downtown businesses will notice the distinction.
That’s my question for the people on the jury. I can sympathize with being scared the mob is going to riot if they produce the “wrong” verdict, but if the mob is likely going to riot either way, why not do as juries are supposed to do and decide on the facts and merits of the cases before them?
In my mind, the mob rioting is a foregone conclusion you can’t do anything about. Therefore, for the purposes of determining guilt or innocence, disregard it.
But that’s just me.
Look at the silver lining, now there’s no reason whatsoever to hold back against cops and persecutors (and no, that’s not a typo) enforcing illegal infringements on liberty.
Lets see how they like being subjected to the same rules they’ve forced on the rest of us.
True dat. “After the first one, the rest are free.” H. Bowman.
No witnesses, and no cell phones recovered at the scene.
