Looks like you called it, the match got cancelled. We had all the stages setup and the new shooters briefing was about to start when the heavens just opened up for a good 30mins. Once the rain stopped, the range was a lake and Roger gave us the option to shoot it but everyone agreed to just call it a day.
The Trail Glades Range “renovation” project screwed that bay big time. I hope the new range in Homestead finally gets the red tape removed and they can finish working on it. Several bays to shoot action shooting sports? Heaven!
It is a crying shame that South Florida terra firma does not have a decent range for us.
Same thing happened here. I was all set to test my second batch of cast lead 45acp, but then the rain kept up.
