I always love when a protected (by armed security personnel)member of the elite class tell us we are better off without guns.
PINECREST, Fla. – A burglar was shot and killed early Monday at the home of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent in Pinecrest, according to Miami-Dade police.
The fatal shooting happened about 1 a.m. during a burglary on Southwest 72nd Avenue.Miami-Dade police Sgt. Carlos Rosario said two women who live in the home woke up to the sound of glass breaking and were confronted by a man who broke inside through the sliding-glass door.
Rosario said one of the women, who was a federal agent, got her gun. Rosario said shots were fired and the intruder was killed inside the home.
CBP officials confirmed that the victim used her government-issued .40-caliber Smith & Wesson gun in the shooting.
Burglar shot, killed by US Customs and Border Protection agent, police say.
I wonder if the deceased had cased the place, saw that two women were living “without” the protection of a man and thought he had an easy target. That is what’s called a fatal miscalculation in the Victim Selection Process.
I just love happy endings
ANOTHER TURD DONE GONE!!!
She just saved the taxpayers a ton of money.
Please let the home invader be an Illegal. That would be such epic tragic irony.
Looks local born and raised.
Robert Young,
2028 y/o. Although he was arrested in 2012 for Home Robbery Invasion with a firearm, he never served felony time. (plea down?)He has 2 arrest for carrying without a license and possession with intent. Another charge of resisting arrest.
In 2012, he would have been a poor innocent juvenile delinquent of about 14.
They may have pled it down? Or was his record sealed and cleaned up when he turned 18? Too bad he never grew up and became responsible for himself before he killed himself.
A mistype on my part. He was 28 years old at the time of assuming final peace on this Earth
I always wonder how many other crimes he committed that he was never identified as the perpetrator? Because there is no way he lived for years off of the few crimes he was accused of.
A feel-good story!
For what it’s worth, CBP Officers aren’t issued Smith and Wesson handguns as duty guns, they are issued the H&K P2000. So either the news is wrong or it was her personal firearm. A happy ending, regardless!
Well… The CBP pistol is an H&K P2000 in 40 S&W.

So they got it half right.
“CBP officials confirmed that the victim used her government-issued .40-caliber Smith & Wesson gun in the shooting.”
They moved the “Smith & Wesson” out from between the “40” and “caliber.” Just remember that they get about that level of accuracy on every story.
