Prison Planet.com » DHS To Purchase Another 750 Million Rounds Of Ammo.
I just placed my order for primers and bullets. If this order gets approved, prices of components will go up.
May have to drop by the gun store and get me some defensive ammo for the carry guns. It is that time of the year when you get to recycle your old loads.
And why DHS wants so much ammo? I really don’t know but I ain’t all warm fuzzy about it.
Since only smart pro-God,Country and Freedom Loving people read the GFZ do not forget about .22 conversion kits. Great for close-in drills. Got one for Glock 26/27 and Bushmaster. It wasn`t that many years ago when we had a primer shortage.I never forgot 🙁
Hell, why not? The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is gettin’ some too.

did some reading up on that…that was a fubar. it was for fisheries division. besides it was only 40k rounds.
You know, I looked up that FBO filing and downloaded the pdf, and I don’t see where they get that number.
The way I read it, it’s like a possible outcome if they order the maximum number they might order over 5 years. There’s a bunch of line items – everything from 38 special wadcutter to 12 ga, #7 1/2 bird shot to .223 Remington match grade 62 grain BTHP (I’m not making this up), but all they ever really say they’ll commit to buy in advance is 1000 rounds of each line item.
That wouldn’t be 1 million rounds, let alone 750 million.
BTW, NOAA runs the National Fisheries Service, who boards fishing boats to make sure commercial fishermen are following laws. While I don’t see that they need a lot of arms, you know that no Federale is ever going to hassle someone unless they have superior firepower.
