Florida Congressman Charlie Crist is said to be considering a run against Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2022 gubernatorial election.

According to several lobbyists that say they have entertained a phone call from Crist regarding a possible run, and one influential member of the U.S. Congress, who corroborates their claims, Crist is willing to leave his cushy job in Washington for his former job in Tallahassee.

Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has been considered the best potential Democratic candidate to face DeSantis, may have just seen her chances of becoming her political party’s gubernatorial nominee go up in smoke.

Charlie Crist may run against Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2022

This is telling us the Florida Democrats are desperate. If they considered Nikki Fried their best chance, it means they know they had none and just wanted to burn an unsuitable candidate in the electoral pyre.

Crist is not well liked by Republicans, in fact, he is pretty much despise for becoming a turncoat. If he does throw the hat in the ring, he will probably be endorsed by all major media outlets as a  savior from the Republicans and “DeathSantis.” But translating that to actual votes when the media keeps failing to properly vet candidates and just go with the orders of Debbie Wasserman Schulz? Never forget they threw themselves fully behind Andrew Gillum for Governor who turned out to be a meth and male prostitute addict. There will be a certain reluctance from the voters to believe what they have to say.

  1. Yes, “They” have a chance. If “They” can get away with fraudulently stealing a Presidential Election, NOTHING IS BEYOND THEIR REACH.

    1. Intersectional or not, getting caught on photo passed out and stark nekkid is still a major political goof… unless one is running for Mayor of Washington DC.

  2. To be fair, they got Gropey Joe elected (via hook and crook). Swapping Charlie should be easy, especially if John Morgan throws his money behind him again.
