So it was not the “oops my booboo” that Ellen’s posted about the message of their tickets. It was a preplanned thing by one of Ellen’s owners and discussed online. Here are the thoughts of Joe Groves:
Now, it seems that after being caught in fragant lie, Joe Groves is telling every media outlet that wants to listen to him that the NRA members that dropped to eat in his place were constantly cussing and calling racists names to his personnel. And that is not all, that NRA members are calling him with death threats and announcing they are going to burn down the place. Nice try Joe, pulling the Race Card and the Victim Card is not going to save you from the tag of FUCKING LIAR.
PS: Why did you clean your Facebook account? Suddenly there is only one solitary post for all 2018.
That is all.
Hat Tip Geoff F.
Post this to everybody you know!
So you’re going to trust the supposed screen captures that were posted on some discussion forums without actually having seen the actual Facebook post? At least that where I’m guessing you got them since you have a habit of not attributing sources in such matters.
Anyhoo… whether the joint did as you claim or not, kudos for sullying the reputation of a Dallas restaurant amongst the tens of thousands that blew into town for a few days. Regular customers will return on Monday but, man, you patriots wrecked their weekend!
Now get back to taping over your Yeti coolers!! Moron Labe!
That’s the best you can do?
Very pathetic.
Dear Christopher:
I take umbrage you think I behave like an accredited journalist for the NY Times or the Washington Post as I do have standards. About 98% of the screen caps are done by me as I need them of certain size and background colors. The rest are from sources I trust much more than Joe’s excuse why he wrote in the ticket.
And as for sullying their reputation, well, they that themselves, didn’t they? We called him a liar, we are called murderers and terrorists and your side want us dead or in prison. I think telling the truth about that particular asshole is not the same.
It is your opinion and are free to express it. We simply don’t care much for it.
First, the People of the Gun have long memories. Visiting NRA members will be leaving, but those who live in Dallas will remember. .. and even the visitors will spread word of mouth about Ellen’s and the shitbox who owns it. The bad karma will last for years and be repeated every time their name comes up on a post. There’s people who still refuse to buy Rugers, and Bill Ruger has been dead for most of a generation now. For sake of a cheap social signal, Ellen’s has poisoned it’s name.
Second, we hit back. Hard. If Ellen’s had stuck with serving it’s customers nobody would have cared. Instead it took sides. Get woke, go broke… and the sooner the better. Same with Dicks, same with Yeti. Don’t want us as enemies, don’t work to.make us enemies.
The restaurant business is touchy. It depends on not just getting tables filled, but getting enough tables filled, every night. A small shift in customer satisfaction can drive even a popular destination out of business. My hope is that the staff and the other stakeholders at Ellen’s understand that the reason their restaurant is now in peril is Joe Groves and his desire to social signal.
And the mask slips. The excuse didn’t work, so time to go begging for pity love from the Left and play the victim card.
It won’t work.
They wanted t shirts that say “fuck the nra” and the NRA members are the violent ones????
