The democrats are tacking so much training crap on the amendments (71 at last count) that I am pretty sure members of Delta or the Seal Teams would not qualify for the Guardian program. In fact I am sure they wouldn’t because I doubt they take “12 hours sensitivity training” in Hell Week.

There is a ton of stuff in those amendments: universal bg checks, awb, funding for schools that refuse to participate, requirement to let parents opt out of classes containing a teacher who is a guardian. They are pushing back HARD.
I think they want to poison pill the bill which is a recognized strategy.
