Just gave it a glance, and this goes past just Evil Black Rifles. IE: Semi auto pistols that have “ A slide that encloses the barrel and that permits
the shooter to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned;” Correct me if I am wrong, but a lot of pistols have a slide like that. And they also added an old favorite ” A semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm“:
And they did not forget shotguns either! Any shotgun with a “A fixed magazine capacity in excess of 5 rounds.” Do I even asks how many old timey shotguns have suddenly transformed into Assault Weapons? (cue somber fanfare)
I am going to read the whole bill later and see what other crap they added.
Since the “elections” in Nov these kinda. Ills are poppin up everywhere. They are solutions lookin for problems. Its like the “bill of the month” lets turn 200 million Americans into criminals!! Ya good idea. Gonna be a rough ride y all. Get on the stick and beat these “laws”
Pretty much any firearm (other than maybe the Mini 22) can be held with two hands such that the supporting hand doesn’t get burned. That slide description seems to cover just about any semi-auto pistol except for ones like the Ruger 22.
I have a democrat for a state rep and state senate. Writing to them is like pissing into the wind.
Still do it. It is not like it is costing you oodles of money and they won’t be able to say they got 100% favorable contacts for the gun control measures (or opposite if applies)
