Moms Demand UBC Florida

Bill was able to get a screen capture before Shannon came to her senses and deleted the Tweet.

Florida is truly hated by the Antis. We got the Concealed Carry avalanche started and we did not make any friends by re-instituting Stand Your ground and a slew of other Pro-Second Amendment bills. If we could be erased from the map while keeping DisneyWorld, they would have done so already.

  1. No, we won’t (need to register our firearms) when you violate the Constitution in Florida. Being compelled to undergo an interrogation under criminal sanction, and a search, in the absence of probable cause of wrongdoing is a violation of our Fourth Amendment right to be secure from search and/or seizure in the absence of probable cause of criminal conduct. The purchase or transfer of a firearm is not criminal conduct.

Being compelled to complete an illegal interrogation and search is not due process and therefore a compelled background check is a violation of our right to due process.

Both are a violation of our Tenth Amendment right to be secure from the federal exercise of power not delegated by the U.S. Constitution, and our Tenth Amendment right to be secure from the State exercise of power prohibited to the States by the U.S. Constitution (e.g., the Second Amendment).

Like Michael Bloomberg, Bill Gates, the Brady Campaign, and anyone else advocating or supporting or voting for any kind of a government process requiring permission to exercise a right. Shannon Watts is a subversive and an insurrectionist against our Constitutional form of government. Her purpose, like theirs, is not to reduce crime; her purpose is to render our Bill of Rights irrelevant and moot, and that makes her. and them, enemy agents of the United States Constitution.

    1. I agree shes is a commie socialist who wants total control over what people do,,see, hear, read so they can have totalarian rule…and no rights or means to protect themselves againis illegal search, seizure or arrest with no warreant or reason,,,we are becoming ww2 Germany and Russia

  2. doncline covered all the technical stuff, but I’m still left wondering how UBC is ging to cause someone to register the guns they already have.

Maybe I should not post that question – it might make Shannon think about it. OTOH, if she does that there could be a toxic spill when her head explodes.

    stay safe.

    1. Hand one to a buddy at the range and walk off, and you’ve committed a misdemeanor. Viola! Registered outlaw. Obey the (color of) law and go through a dealer, and again when he returns it to you, and Viola! You are both registered. And BTW, the existing NICS computer is required by law to delete any record of any background check, but Janet Napolitano said it is impossible for that computer to delete anything — and so far, no one has done anything about it. (And her statement is a baldfaced lie.)

      1. As we’re often told, once something is on the internet it never goes away. Once your information goes to NICS or any other database, it’s permanently recorded. Oh, they say they don’t retain any information after XX days? Do they allow the information to be mirrored to a non-affiliated server? Like the NSA, or the FBI, perhaps? How about stored on a blade server, and an outside contractor comes in once a month, pulls the oldest blade out, installs a clean fresh one, then takes the old one to a black rendition site and interrogates it until it tells all it knows? If you believe that, then I have a can of fresh, clean, alpine air from Switzerland I would like to sell to you. Cheap.

  3. I want and will vote for FLORIDA to be one of the state to have open i mean open carry it don’t bdo any good if you have a gun and you have th o hide it

    1. Well, that’s not really true, Junior. There is an advantage to keeping your tactical capability hidden; the bad guy doesn’t know who’s armed and who isn’t. And if the bad guy is intent on committing a massacre and he sees you are capable of stopping him, he’s going to take you our first, without warning, and get on with his mission.

  4. Okay, so how about making it time to make Florida Constitutional Carry? With optional permit system to keep reciprocals intact?
