And now we wait for the bill to be enrolled and sent to the Governor for signature.

Bill has been enrolled! Damn that was fast!

Next stop: The Governor’s desk.

I am finally starting to be optimistic about this bill becoming law.

And I reckon the Lord will be saying: “About time you attended Mass. It has been a spell. Now do de sign of the cross and sit yer butt in that pew over there.

I might even take Communion.

  1. Gun Owners of America emailed me at a quarter to one to let me know to pester my Senators to vote Yea.

    Two hours after the vote…

More timely than The Cat Lady, I guess. The NRA will prolly let me know about the “upcoming” vote in a week or two.

    1. I got Marion Hammer’s notification about the passing at 3:45 pm.
And I won’t bitch about GOA or her because they were the only ones that showed up to the committees to fight for the bill unlike the “premier gun rights organization of Florida” who was never seen, not heard.

      1. GOA Florida is practically a different org from GOA national. I’m happy that Luis has moved from “some guy on the internet” (your words by the way) to getting an umbrella organization to back what he was doing all along when he lived up Tallahassee way.

But he’s been showing up for years, GOA backing him is new this year.
