HB 1341 and SB 1882 (Identical)

Requires DACS to maintain an online application process for issuance of licenses & prohibiting it from arbitrarily or subjectively restricting access; provides for award of reasonable costs & attorney fees in successful actions against DACS to enforce specified provisions.

My guess is that seeing how some states played shenanigans with their CWL process during the pandemic, legislators here want to make sure it does not happen in Florida.  Teeth come with the bill in the form of lawsuits.

  1. And this is all well and good except that during the first several months of the shutdown, the entire Ag Dept website was offline, I couldn’t even get my renewed Class-D security license. The check cleared, though. :eyeroll:
