Florida AG Says Carrying a Gun is Always Presumably a Crime | All Nine Yards.

“Given the small percentage of the population that is licensed to carry a concealed firearm, the overwhelming majority of firearms, or 95%, are not licensed to be concealed. Thus, an officer’s suspicion that a firearm is not licensed would be reasonable because, in any given case, there would be, statistically speaking, a 95% likelihood of illegality.

Wait, what? Oh Jesus Lord, what a dumb statement! Are we to assume that since about 50% of Florida’s population have unregistered, unlicensed vaginas, they should be suspects of the crime of prostitution?

  1. Are we to assume that since about 50% of Florida’s population have unregistered, unlicensed vaginas, they should be suspects of the crime of prostitution?

    That is hilarious.

    1. That means the other 50% of the population are suspect of Unlawful Possession of a Rape Tool ? 🙂

  2. And without realizing it she makes our case for us – meaning: With so many criminals crarying guns illegally, MORE citizens should carry concealed in order to protect themselves.

If she disagress that we peasants should be able to protect ourselves, then let her first give up her security detail to prove her point. And she’ll NEVER do that.

    1. Blah blah Big Tent blah blah party open to multiple viewpoints blah blah bipartisan blah blah reaching out across the aisle.

  3. The best way to get this country back on track is to start locally. Get to the polls, and get rocket scientists like this out of office. One small pebble shifting can set the whole mountainside to sliding.

  4. If only 10 percetn of the population carried, the chances of illigality would be 50/50, and constitutional carry would have passed the legislature long ago!

  5. Am I the only one here that read her quote correctly?

She’s saying that 95% of the people who have possesion of a firearm on them at the time when Law Enforcement stops them is carrying it illegally by statute because they don’t have a conceal carry permit. Which is true. I have several firearms and have them with me laying in my passenger seat, I would be breaking the law as I don’t have a concealed carry permit.

I don’t know if the stat is correct or not, but if Law Enforcement stops someone who currently has possession of the firearm but does not have a concealed carry is in fact breaking the law. Her quote says nothing about ownership of the firearm in ones home.

It’s not like she’s saying anyone who owns a handgun and keeps it under their bed is breaking the law.

Athough she could have worded it better. Reading and comprehension is not your guys’ strong suit.

    1. Maybe you are not reading it right. According to Bondi, even if you are legally carrying a gun, you are to be treated like a criminal. You can have a cop shove a gun in your face, be thrown to the ground & handcuffed even before you can produce the documentation proving you are legally carrying.
You might enjoy that kind of treatment and abuse but I for one find that any excuse to trample on my rights is not acceptable no matter what the other 99% might be doing.

  6. Pam Bondi is a dreadful RINO

Pam Bondi has been kissing up to Mitt for some time

Mitt should be dissuaded from even considering this woman for any position in his administration

Pam Bondi hand picked the nightmare prosecutor in the George Zimmerman prosecution

Pam Bondi is a dangerous climbing RINO

  7. Good grief! I have always thought her a bit “airy” but liked her stance on the state’s right to reject Obamacare. This, however, is truly a derp moment.
