1. Heh. I think my first tacticool gun will still be an AR though, so the SPORTS drill will be drilled and drilled and drilled and drilled until its second nature.

   Then again I got used to the heft of the M16A2 from ROTC so a full size rifle and not a carbine is right for me.

2. BS that drill. Simplicity is the key in any weapon’s platform. Whenever you get your M4gery, let me know and I recommend good instructors.

3. That’ll be awhile. I want to save up for an Enfield or some other bolt gun. There’s the appeal of WWII weaponry for me.

4. Randy Cain has a defensive rifle class for bolt action guns. I’ve been told it is the most fun you’ll ever have with a gun like that.

    Rack the charging handle to chamber a new round

    Remember the AK bolt does not stay back on an empty mag

    Check to see if the magazine is loaded.

    Squeeze the trigger

       Load magazine and rack the charging handle

       Squeeze trigger about 30 times or so.

       If it stops shooting, go back to step one.
