From Fox News:

Michigan bars, restaurants will require diners’ names, phone numbers starting Monday

Diners in Michigan will be required to give their name and phone number to restaurants and bars starting Monday in an effort to contain a recent coronavirus surge, according to reports.

The new rule was put in place by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday and also includes limiting indoor gatherings without fixed seating — like in restaurants — to 50 people and individual tables to six people, The Detroit News reported.

Remember when Der Grosse Apfel Furher de Blasio set up a COVID narc hotline so New Yorkers could rat out others for non-compliance with the Lockdown and it got flooded with dick pics and Nazi memes?

I have a feeling that a lot of guys are going to be going out to eat paying cash named Mike Rotch, Haywood Jablowme, and Seymore Butts taking out their girlfriends Amanda Hugnkiss, Ivana Tinkle, and Anita Deuce.

I just feel bad for all the waitstaff who are going to have to put up with that shit.

All I can say is if you Mr. Dick Long and your date Ms. Gretchen Cangofuckherself enjoy a night on the town, tip generously after giving your names.

Spread the love

  1. This requirement does nothing except increase the number of tests, which increases the number of “cases.”

My city did this a few months ago, and guess what? Yep, COVID cases surged.

Simple really. Require the restaurant to collect names and contact info, and keep them for 30 days or so. Then when anyone who has entered that establishment in the past 30 days tests positive, you now have to call every person who was there for the two weeks after that positive entered the building.

What’s a restaurant in a city do for lunch/dinner? 200 people a day? 500? Multiply the average day’s patronage by 14 days (or maybe as much as 30) and you have thousands of people who will be advised to take the COVID test. With a positive rate of about 5%, your city’s case count will soar. (Even though the overwhelming majority of the positives will have no symptoms whatsoever.)

The tyrants need to keep the population terrified. That’s why they are talking about new cases, not new hospitalization or new deaths. Testing positive for the virus (especially if the PCR test is used) does not mean you are sick. Your immune system can be doing its job perfectly, controlling or destroying the virus, but you can still test positive.

The politicians know this, but do not want the population to realize it. Therefore, it is all about “cases” not hospitalizations or deaths.

  2. Same topic, different point:

Use the name of the elected official that is imposing this requirement. I did this when the Mayor (God Emperor, I mean) imposed this requirement. Put the phone number for city hall down, and use their name.

Hmm. Perhaps “de Stasio” is a more accurate appelation?

    1. Where I grew up, during the ’80s, the local exchange was 876. Apparently someone did have 5309, and got lots of misdialed calls.

  4. So many sci-fi/fantasy name options, so little time.

(Personally, I’m leaning towards Trazyn the Infinite, myself)

  5. Latest info is business owners can get up to six months prison for not complying.

Seriously, WTF??? Not collecting personal information on your customers is now a jailable offense???

  6. I like how they are having “curfew” in many towns. Starting at midnight, lifting at 5AM or so. Because cutting 5 hours out of the day when 95% of people are at home in bed is TOTALLY going to stop the Covid. Must be that people in bars and nightclubs are 20X more contagious than people in offices, restaurants and stores, which are all open all day.
