And apparently I have to send him ammo as payment 🙂
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

I can live with that.
Better take 9mm reloads…all I got.
Another interesting graphic would track the growth of the NFA registry from 1934 to today. It would be interesting to see the spikes at 1958, 1968, and 1986 for machinegun registrations.
If you have the data, I can put it together, but unless my Google-fu is seriously sucking today (which is always possible), I cannot find any public record of NFA registrations by year.
Linoge: A chart is outbound to your e-mail. It has NFA registration activity up through 1990.
Also check Pages 21 to 25 of the following link for NFA registration activity data through 1996:

To be honest, read the whole document. When Eric Larson compared the figures between the yearly reports, he started to notice that the numbers for previous years had been changed. Registrations were being added retroactively, presumably as owners provided hard copies of registrations for which the NFA Branch had previously lost their own paperwork. The clearest evidence of paperwork error is the data listed for years prior to the passage of the National Firearms Act of 1934.
