Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

How serendipitous you should post that now…I’m in the process of moving and today is the day the guns get transported. Fortunately none of the neighbors can see what’s being unloaded when the truck is backed up to the front porch!
Contrast my neighborhood: at the first block party, I notice most of the men are open carrying. They ask me about what I own. By the end of the barbecue, it’s my assignment to cover the corner woods if SHTF.
If only I had known, I could have had help getting the dadgum safe off the moving truck.
Oh, yeah. I try to be a bit low key, take in one or two at a time, but you trade being back and forth a lot for carrying in a double arm load.
That always concerns me when I go to or come back from the range…
My neighbors tend to just be green with envy.
back ‘er into the garage and unload there.
oh wait, I forgot… I’m of the 1% of people out there who actually puts their CARS in their garages every night. 😀
Yep back ‘er in… It’s two or three trips ever time…
Life hack!- Electric guitar & bass gig bags cost about the same as a rifle case, and don’t bring the same amount of fear and loathing*. An AR with 30 rnd mag and optic fit just fine.
If you really want to be traditional, a Gibson Les Paul hardshell case should give that classic 20’s violin case vibe.
*Unless you also have a Gibson SG Junior & a Marshall 100w Plexi stack (or Rick 4001 & Acoustic 360 for us bass guitar types).
But do I want my neighbors to think I am a Bass player? It may bring property values down! (snerk)
My neighbor is on my shit list. Now I load and unload In plain sight. They won’t hardly look in my direction anymore.
