1. If it works, then it is not too much lube.

3. My (former) supervisor was also called “the oil-prince” because he always filled the G3, G36 and M16 with that much oil (BreakFree) that you ended up with a black face after shooting.
   It also made cleaning a pain in the ass.
   He argued, that the old Rheinmetall 2cm Flak needed that much oil (he got drafted somewhere in the 70s) and thus every weapon needed that much oil.

   Hell, I’m a “dry shooting” proponent. I, repeatedly, send 12.000 rounds through a G36 with just a fingertip full of grease (no oil).

4. Oil or water, it’s TOO DAMN MUCH! 🙂

5. As long as the thing went “bang” when and as expected, and poked a hole in the intended target, all is good. 🙂
