Iranian destroyer accidentally sinks IRGC warship
Iranian Navy confirms 19 sailors killed, 15 wounded in a friendly fire incident in the Gulf of Oman. Arab media says Iranian battleship was hit by a C-802 Noor missile during a military exercise, causing it to sink.
According to the Qatar-based Al Jazeera network, an Iranian destroyer accidentally fired a C-802 Noor missile at a sister warship during military exercises.
The Konarak, a Hendijan-class support ship, which was taking part in the exercise, was too close to a target during an exercise on Sunday when the incident happened, the reports said. The vessel had been putting targets out for other ships to target.

Feel good story of the day.
The US Navy has had its own share of stupid mishaps with live fire exercises. The USS Iwo Jima was hit with 20mm cannon fire that was fired by the USS El Paso in 1989, killing one and wounding another.
I remember this, because this battle group had just relieved ours. We had just gotten home.
