If it is not mentioned by the news right on the headline, you can pretty much assume it is a Democrat.
They eventually got to it…. way way down the article.
But this is nothing you did not know already, right? Just for fun, let’s pretend we are shocked, shocked!
Hat Tip Kevin B.
Oh hey, a local story!
Wuhan Lujan has got to be sweating bullets, and hoping this distracts from her own misuse of funds, which dwarf Ms. Williams’ own infractions. The State House majority leader is accused of taking kickbacks and bribes. Lujan has been accused of using state money directly for her own personal benefit.
It’s 8:30 am, and I have to do 4 hours of driving shortly, so I’ll let others look up Lujan’s transgressions. I’ll leave it at this: Remember the Siege of Gallup.
Hide ‘D’, Showcase ‘R’ – It’s the media’s unwritten rule for covering political scandals.
(That link is from 2014, and it was a well-established pattern even then.)
Of course she’s a Democrat. You could tell when they didn’t mention any party until the eighth paragraph. If they could get away with it, they wouldn’t mention it at all — the Party OR the wrong-doing.
You know if she had been a Republican, it would have said so in the very first paragraph and/or been part of the headline. Heck, the word “Republican” might have been enlarged, bolded, italicized, underlined, bright red, flashing, and have a sparkle effect added. Whatever it takes to make it 100% clear that the bad person is a doubleplusungood Republican.
But she’s a Democrat, so the lapdog media has to do what they can to run cover for the Party.
