Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Some people need a Hi Point so that when their home is broken into and their Kimber is in the shop for its monthly tune-up and oil change, they’ll have something to shoot with that goes bang when you pull the trigger.
Just be sure to empty the mag into the burglar. You wouldn’t want him testifying in court that you owned a Hi Point now would you?
BWHAHAHAHAHA! It would be shameful, wouldn’t it?
But the Hi Point does have a reason: It works and it is cheap. Those who can’t afford something else have an alternative other than a baseball bat, hornet spray and harsh words.
My brother just bought a Hi Point 9mm new for $170. When we went to the range to try it out he put about a hundred rounds though it with no problems. I had a problem with the range master, though…he yelled at me for wearing a paper bag over my head.
All kidding aside, it shoots good. For 170 bucks, how can you go wrong?
