  1. Do they have to have enough sponsors to pass the bill before it does anything?

Because it sure seems like unless there’s a supermajority of sponsors in both houses of Congress and a sympathetic president, then these bills are much sound and fury signifying nothing.

    Why, yes, I am disheartened.

      1. Might want to double-check your math, Boss. I get 8 short, using your data.

I do, however, agree with you about the Senate being the problem. We’ll deal with them after they get the bill through the House. There’s NO excuse that this hasn’t been accomplished already.

  2. I can’t find any indication that the House Judiciary Committee has brought the reciprocity bill to the floor. Goodlatte’s the chair of the committee, I’m told. Why the delay?

    1. Your mistake is that you’re expecting Congress to actually DO something. Why do you think they rarely show up for work? They don’t like work. They just like the paycheck, the sinecure.

  3. The way I read it this doesn’t do a thing for May not issue states like Maryland. I want to carry hear where I live. I’ll go out and get a Florida non resident license if I have to but by my understanding that won’t help me carry in Maryland under this bill. Am I right or wrong???

    1. You are right. It only opens the door to carry in all 50 states, Can’t risk any more.
It is the nose of the camel inside the tent. The idea is also for the people of the May Issue state to demand Shall Issue.
“How come Florida tourists can carry in Baltimore and the natives can’t?
