A suppressor on a revolver will still have most of sound reduction effects as on a pistol, most of the gases are still exiting out the front-end after all. Sure, some escape via the cylinder gap, but it’s minimal.
No, you won’t get the silly Hollywood “pffft-pffft,” but you all know that’s nonsense anyway.

Akschually it’s not nonsense per se. A properly silenced gun does not even produce a” pfft”-sound. You hear the click from the firing pin and the “whack” on the target.
