Should I change my vote, because I just cannot live without the knowledge that John Legend is residing within the borders of the USA? Do I care where an actor, singer, or athlete chooses to make their home? Am I going to stop buying music, or watching movies/TV because the artist lives in the UK or Canada?

Remember that Meghan Markle said that she and former-prince Harry would not move to the US as long as Trump was President, and then less than 4 weeks later they moved to Los Angeles.
So not only are celebrities who hate trump not leaving the country, they’re actually coming back.
On a positive note, my commie sister’s commie ex-husband is moving to Ireland with his new commie wife in 2021. He’s already given up custody of their son to make the move easier.

So you have two examples of people who call themselves “Conservatives” who made similar threats, one of them at least taken totally out of context and made to sound like something he didn’t actually say. That means, what? That anyone else who calls themselves “Conservative” has no right to complain when dozens of prominent “liberals”make the same idle threat and don’t carry it out? “Hey, there was one a guy who was a Republican who said the same thing, and since any one Republican represents all 80,000,000 people in his party, none of you have any basis for complaint at all”? Sure.
Suppose a person thinks ANYONE who makes such a threat is a moron, can he complain then, even if it’s a liberal? Does he have to provide proof that he made similar complaints when the aforesaid Republican was blustering before he can complain about the leftists? What if all he’s complaining about is that they didn’t carry out their threats, not that they made them? A person who votes GOP would be glad to see leftists celebrities leave, and has a right to grumble when the say they will and then don’t, regardless of what some Conservative once said that was similar. What if it’s a young person who wasn’t even politically aware when your alleged statements were made. Are they not allowed to complain about a leftist threatening to leave the US because a Conservative once said a similar thing years ago, even if they didn’t KNOW? Are they required to retract their statement and apologize once they are informed that a CONSERVATIVE once said the same thing. Because after all, a Conservative person can’t complain about something if another Conservative once said the same thing, right?
I’m sure John Legend and his wife would feel much more at home in a country where her fucking pedophile tendencies would be more tolerated. Afghanistan maybe?
