So, you have warrants in 3 counties and a suspended license while carrying half a pound of illegal substances but choose to drive at night in a car without one headlamp, a cracked windshield, no brake lights and expired tags.
And you are surprised how come the cops pulled you over.
PS: And then you resist arrest.
Folks that disregard the big laws (theft, assault, VUCSA) care little about the small ones (stop signs, speed limits, vehicle safety maintenance).
one requirement to be a petty criminal is you have to be a dumbass.
It’s not like you have to pass your SATs to be a criminal.
This is an example of why going after small crimes yields big dividends.
Now I do think there are too many laws, but the recent interest in decriminalizing a lot of crimes means petty criminals are around to commit big crimes where my CCW would be needed.
For example, repeat offenders on illegal immigration. Three strikes and it should be a life sentence in prison.
