      1. Does sitting in an M1 Abrams and then having the crew chief yank all the panels for me count?

         The best was when the MPs asked me what I was doing as I rode my bike into work. “I’m trying to figure out what the heck caused at M1 to stop in the middle of the road and how the hell it is leaking oil.”

         The first time I saw an M1 was driving into work and seeing an M1 coming in the opposite direction with a leading and trailing escort.
         “I didn’t know that the Army was buying toy pickups.” I thought I saw the escort trucks.
         Then the trucks got close enough for me to identify them as full size Ford Pickups with crew cabs.

         The M1 is freaking HUGE when you have something to compare it with.
