Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

    1. You mean to say you never did? Playing with fire can be fun, if you know what you’re doing.(Don’t believe me? Look at my icon.)

I’m led to understand that Miguel comes from a land riddled with crime and corruption, I wager he has an idea or two about what tyranny actually looks like.

  1. Every complaint I’ve heard about Trump fades away in the face of Hillary. You go into an election with the candidate you have, not the ideal one you dream of — and I’ve yet to hear Trump declare open season on the Bill of Rights like Hillary.

(And most of the “criticism” I hear about Trump amounts to “not our class, dear”.)

  2. There’s a few things about this-

First, isn’t the whole “knuckle down and go along with the Republican establishment” thing part of what got us this mass of spineless RINOs in the first place?

Second, every couple of years during primary season we have candidates calling the others candidates dishonest, corrupt, incompetent crooks… right up until the Convention, when the losing candidates suddenly have a change of heart about the winner. Suddenly, the person they slagged as the worst in the world is now the best, and will give them a cabinet position if they win. Why is that not considered dishonest?

Yes, I get it- our choice is between a turd sandwich, and a turd sandwich with extra cholera. But I don’t have to like it.

  3. There are plenty of not voting for Trump isn’t a vote for Hilary articles, I must disagree. I lived through the Ross Perot election that did exactly that. Votes for Perot lost the election for the Republicans. Without Perot votes there would have been a republican president. The articles claiming otherwise are about some kind of non existing world. When the 3rd party can muster a win I’ll change my mind.

    1. To Ken R.
When “MSM” treats ALL “national” political parties EQUALLY, We ALL will change our minds. Having been around for awhile, I’m not holding my breath.
