Hospitals in Mayor Sadiq Khan’s London resemble those in a war zone, a senior surgeon working to save victims of the capital’s surging violent crime wave has said.
The shock comments made Thursday morning come after two more men were killed overnight, a couple of days after another night of violence saw a boy, 16, stabbed to death and a 17-year-old girl shot in a “drive by”.Wednesday night’s killings, both in Hackney, East London, brought the death toll from suspected murder in the capital to 50 so far this year, pulling away from New York City, which London overtook at the weekend.

They added Knife Control to Gun Control and people are being both shot and stabbed to death. Their body count surpassed New York is almost half of Chicago’s:

Am I the only one that feels this is going to get worse? I am getting visuals of the British Army patrolling the streets of Belfast during the worse of the IRA days.
Then again, what’s happening now may not be a bug but a feature. Who is to profit? I have no idea.
The British still have an Army? I thought they threw them all in jail for ‘war crimes’. And just how effective do they think those patrols are going to be when the squaddies know they’ll get absolutely no support if things go wrong?

Slightly different angle and anecdotal but still relevant to the conversation:
I have an employee who has a mother and step-father that are both from France. He takes them back once a year to visit friends and family. They are fairly left leaning folks as is to be expected. This is the first year that my employee’s mother is refusing to go back to France due to warnings of violence and general crime given to her by her relatives over there. It isn’t just bad, it’s getting worse and crime is rising all across the EU according to this employee (as well as another employee I have from the UK).
For decades, Europeans looked down their noses at the US for our “backward views” on civilian firearm ownership (among other things). Now, Europeans are being imprisoned for Facebook comments and YouTube videos while being overrun with 3rd world lawlessness. I can’t say I have too much compassion for their predicament as they have continued down this destructive path with haughty virtue signaling and righteous indignation.
After saving Europe twice from their own stupidity, I really don’t think we need to do it a third time.
Once again we see the truth that there is no policy the Left won’t push, no matter how many graves to have to be filled to achieve it.
England will eventually be put into order- whether it’s the English who do it, or the Islamist is the only question.
