And the exchange after this post confirms what we have known for a while: “It’s not a lynching-lynching if we do it.”

I have no answers for you other than carry with enough BB’s and pray you can bring your gun to bear before they render you useless.

  1. BYU was just dragged through the mud by every media outlet in the country because a player having a bad day said she heard “that word.” After an official investigation, it was determined that word was never said. So now we’re in a situation where the attack comes first and the “he used that word” defense is used to justify it afterwards.

    1. Hard call to make until you are in the middle of it. To me it comes under wether I know the person or not. Getting involved can sometimes cost you everything…

  2. Reminder.
It is not the action taken by the person that causes the offense.
It is the political affiliation of the person taking action that causes the offense.

No different when it comes to race. Violent whites use words, non-violent blacks use fists/kicks.

  3. A revolver with shot loads could end the attack while minimizing collateral damage.

OTOH, if this is NYC, you can tweet about the attack if you survive.

    1. If your life is at stake, why use inefficient ammunition? It also could be used against you in court: “Ladies and gentlemen of the Jury, the defendant, by his own admission, was using ammunition that was but a bunch of bb’s incapables of delivering a proper defense against deadly force. He is admitting he was not in fear for his life therefore he cannot claim self-defense.”

There was a case in Florida where the defendant actually said in court that he shot his attacker in the leg because he did not want to kill him or hurt him too bad. His claim of self-defense was thrown, and he was found guilty of assault with deadly weapon or something like that.

    2. If a gun comes out, better to put the thugs down. Remember, it’s better to be judged by twelve, than carried by six. And when judged by twelve, the survivors voice is more authoritative.
