OK, it is official: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN MINNESOTA ?
Keith Ellison is the head Law Enforcement honcho in the state and he is advocating that there should not be a police investigation on rape cases. I am all for victim support, but to ignore that a rapist is out there and to impede cops to gather evidence and information is just plain idiotic. Or maybe there is a political shift like what happened in Europe where certain rape cases have to be ignored because cultural considerations.
What even worries more is the lack of shock in the faces of both females in the video: Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) and Yamiche Alcindor PBS White House correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. Then again neither one of them live in Minnesota

Yep. He wants to make sure his jihad raiders are free to rape and pillage all they want, with impunity.

What a trio. We all know about Ellison, Alcindor is a propagandist “reporter”, and Bass is being floated as a VP pick for Biden. What a mess.
There may be a conflict of interest involved there, IYKWIM.

I don’t know why I find it so funny, but I laugh every time I hear him say, in reference to the police, “somebody who’s main training is that they know how to use a firearm.”
It’s extremely telling that he views the police as nothing more than hired guns.
That’s what I was thinking. Firearm training is a surprisingly small part of police academy training. There’s much more focus on protocols and procedures, de-escalation, recognizing and diagnosing various intoxicants, and physical training, than on firearms.
And when you think about it, given the general NYPD’s unspeakably-bad gun handling skills, if that’s their “main training”, how crappy must the rest of their skill set be?
The left has spent decades trying to convince us that police are firearms experts who are the only ones well trained enough to have guns. That perception is now coming full circle.
He is worried that the cops will catch him.

Like I said about this video when J.Kb posted about it, it’s interesting to see how Ellison is “mansplaining” about how responding and investigating rapes is bad, and the liberal ladies are not only allowing it, they approve of it!
I thought “mansplaining” was among the most unforgivable sins a man could commit! But here they are, not just tolerating it, but nodding along!
It is instructive, though, that whatever they say on the campaign trail, the Left doesn’t care about women, doesn’t care about stopping criminal behavior, and doesn’t care about justice. Yes, they’ll comfort the victims — as long as it’s in the budget to do so (which they’re actively trying to defund) — but they won’t go after perpetrators or prevent/deter them from committing crimes.
I guess it’s like AOC said, the criminals are driven by poverty to commit crimes? A man who can’t afford bread can’t afford a prostitute, and so has to resort to rape to get his knocks off?
Or maybe rape is a result of privilege? A women’s dignity is a racist privilege, and she needs to “check her privilege” when a man decided he needs it more than she does?
We could come up with countless common Leftist arguments that when used in this context justify allowing rapists to go free, but at the end of the day it’s all the same: The Left does not care about the people, individually or collectively, nor do they care about justice or individual rights. They care about control, and will do whatever it takes to get it.
A free, independent, and unafraid population is difficult to control.
So the Left whittles away at rights and individual freedoms, promotes a culture of dependency on government, and leaves criminals and violent mobs alone to increase fear in the general populace. A dependent and fearful population is easy to control.
We beat this drum a lot, but here it is again. The Left are not hypocrites (though they are liars), or inconsistent, or hold double standards. Everything they do, every policy they push, increases their power and control, either directly or as a secondary or tertiary effect. On any issue, do a thought experiment and try to predict the extended effects of all proposals; wherever the government ends up with the most control and individual people end up the most powerless, there you will find the Leftists.
It’s always about control. Every issue. Every. Damn. Time.

We need to remember what a monster Keith Ellison is – he is very much (in his sexual antics) a rabid Islamist who believes and treats women as trash – worse than animals. He has constantly abused “his women” over the years and has gotten away with it. But he wants to make it easier for his buddies (and presumably co-religionists as well) to get away with that kind of behavior even if they do not have the same political connections and the ability to “convince” the right people to drop matters. He takes the behavior of your typical rap artist (or an MLKJr) to extremes and apparently believes that is one of the blessings of Allah for him in this life.
