I saw this clip from the Axios interview with President Trump about the coronavirus.

I really don’t give much of a shit about it except that the interviewer brought up South Korea.

Now I’m mad.

There are some good articles from Business Insider and National Geographic about what South Korea did to curb the spread of COVID as well as it did.

Some things were technical in nature such as rapid testing and contact tracing.

There are other factors such as the cultural norm of wearing a mask during sickness that is common in Korea, as well as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Asian countries.

Public cleanliness is also a cultural norm that is different than in the US, such as Korea’s speed to disinfect public transportation vs. the NYC subway which is a sewer.

But much of the success of Korea has to do with it not being the United States.

Contact tracing like done in Korea could not be done in the US because we have HIPAA and value patient privacy.

The US is also a huge country.  Korea is one-seventh the size of Texas.  Half the Korean population lives in nine major cities.  They have less than one-sixth our population and are used to a central government as opposed to our federalist system.

But perhaps the biggest difference is the Korea and Japan were not afflicted with TDS.

The Coronavirus first broke during the impeachment of Trump in the House and absolutely nobody in the media or Democratic party gave a fuck about anything but impeachment and if Trump actually pissed on a bed that Obama sleeps in or whatever provably false bullshit some hack FBI informant pulled out of his ass.

Then when Trump ended flights from China the Democrats called him a racist and a xenophobe and said everyone should go to Chinatown for a fucking party.

This was the MS-13 bullshit all over again.  Trump called a gang that has the motto “kill, rape, control” animals, so Pelosi had to call them lambs of God.

Then came the battle over hydroxuchloroquine.  Does it work?  Under what conditions does it work? What needs to be taken with it for it to be effective?  What are the risks?

Who the fuck knows.  Probably a few doctors but the media and Democrats had to destroy any hope of it working because Trump put his faith in it.

Then governors banned doctors from giving it off label, which is fucking obscene.

The Democrats for decades screamed “the government shouldn’t get between a woman and her doctor” when it comes to abortion but when it comes to the COVID, you’re God damned right thr government is going to get between a patient and their doctor.  A governor can decide you can’t take a drug that your doctor might give you even though you are dying and have no other hope because TDS.

Fuck you and your right to go to church, you have to social distance and be on lockdown.

But you can form a mob and riot in the streets as long as you scream “fuck Trump.”

Other countries have had a single l, unified vision for controlling the spread of COVID.  Their leaders were honest and transparent with them.  The virus was the enemy and it was defeated.

In the US, the popular vision driven by  politics  and the media was “whatever Trump says is wrong.”  Trump was the enemy.  All we were told was politicized bullshit.

The Democrats engaged in nothing but naysaying.  I still don’t have an idea of what their plan is or as other than everyone stay home until were all bankrupt and nobody dies of COVID ever again, which is absolutely infeasible.

If Trump said something factually wrong then give me the data and provide alternative solutions.  But the gross overreactions to Trump are so gross and such overreactions that I can’t trust that what they say is anything other than TDS.

COVID might be the immediate cause of death but politics and TDS are the proximate cause of death.

It has been demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that winning elections and making the President look bad was more important than saving American lives and they don’t care a out the 158,000 COVID deaths as anything more than a stick they can beat Trump with.

I have reached the point where I am ready to take every elected Democrat politician at the state and federal level, for all 50 states, and pass them through the Decapatron.

  1. Cuomo and his MTA actually took subway cars out of service when traffic dropped because of the Chinese Coronavirus. That caused more people to crowd into fewer cars.

It took them over two months to begin cleaning cars every night. They should have had crews that cleaned trains during the slow times of the days. They could have had crews cleaning cars as they went. Clean a car as it runs between stops, and then switch to the next car. Repeat until the end, and hop on the next train.

No one in charge in New York thought that would matter, because the people that mattered never had to ride the subway. They had chauffeured car services and government SUVs. Their minions might have had to use the subways, but they are minions, they don’t count.

  2. One thing I’m finding interesting is how Trump is basically telling Democrats their position on everything, and they don’t even seem to realize it’s happening.

The problem with publicly setting yourself against everything your opponent stands for, is that by doing so you’re letting your opponent define your positions.

But the Democrats and Never-Trumpers are so blinded by TDS that they don’t think before they speak. I mean, endorsing MS-13 over the sitting President!? Come on, people!!

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
