I have my doubts that he was even a ‘gun owner’ until he decided to plan and execute his rampage. He doesn’t share anything significant in common with us. This wasn’t a ‘gun nut’ who literally went nuts, it was one of their own.
To Ali Van Den Broek; I’m a former cop. Here are the facts of life. Your idea has been tried repeatedly. The Supreme Court repeatedly ruled that police officers cannot be sued or prosecuted for failing to;
a.) prevent a crime.
b.) stop a crime in process.
c.) apprehend the criminal.
Contrary to the media, this was not a failure of gun control laws. The parents called the police weeks before. They were unable do anything because California has no provisions for treating the mentally ill unless a crime is committed. How’s that working?

So he allegedly had an interview w/ the police (a 5150 review) regarding his mental health and his posting of possibly suicidal videos on April 30th. He owned three handguns that he’d purchased over the course of a year if what I was reading is correct so he had at least one or two of them already, all licensed and registered w/ the state.
No other weapon allows that kind of carnage ?

These incidents really show the power of the media to twist things. Liberalism is a mental disease. How else would you explain obvious facts like this left wing nut from a gun hating family be spun out like the NRA just made a big hit on the West Coast? It is not the gun, I have lost my sister to fun violence which was accidental and I am sorry for your loss but the killer was mentally unstable and he pre planned this awful tragedy he used social media and no one stopped him what about that we are suppose to monitor for child porn but what about for killers to post their plans
